• Lake Atitlan - Mayan Home Stays has initiated a homestay program in the village to give back to the communities surrounding Lake Atitlan, while also providing a truly authentic experience of living with a Maya local family to observe and engage with their culture and customs.
  Meals at the home will be lovingly prepared by the mother of the family, offering the opportunity to savor breakfast and dinner with the family. (Both meals are included in the price). Guests will reside in a very safe neighborhood where the locals live.
  This experience has been offered for 12 years to the village and families who graciously welcome foreigners into their homes. As responsible travelers, guests should be mindful and respectful of the culture during their stay with the family and in the village.
• Iglesia de San Jorge La Laguna - While staying with a Mayan family, guests will have the chance to learn how to make tortillas and participate in cooking meals with the mother of the family.
