Excellent tour of the fjords & islands between Tromsø and Sommarøy - Antonio was a very friendly, knowledgeable guide He took us to some great places and the scenery was amazing His detail about the places we visited was excellent, very informative! If there's one complaint, if you're sat at the back of the minibus you can't hear what he's saying when driving between destinations, he did try to repeat it at the next stop but still

Sommaroy day drive - Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side today, but the heavily falling snow just added a different angle to a great trip. You could just imagine the stunning scenery on a clear day of the fjords on the drive to Sommaroy. Kent was an excellent driver in the scary conditions and very informative.

Recommended excursion! - Worthwhile excursion to see the enchanting scenery around Tromsö. Stops were made in between and we had time to take pictures. Got a lot of information about Norway from our friendly guide (from Portugal). The tour is a bit weather dependent, we were lucky to be out in cloudless skies. A dream!

Fjord Tour - Our tour guide Pedro was very informative & engaging! We would highly recommend the Fjords tour. While there is a bit of driving involved the stunning scenery & ample pit stops along the way to admire the scenery worked really well.

Beautiful scenic road trip - highly recommend - With only a small group (maximum of 8) we had the opportunity to stop at a number of fjords and scenic places between Tromsø and Sommarøy. Mickal (not sure of the spelling) was a fantastic guide and safe driver on the icy roads; additionally he was very knowledgeable of the areas and accommodating to everyone’s needs. Lunch of traditional fish soup is provided in Sommarøy; however NorthernShots will arrange for dietary needs (such as vegetarian and gluten free bread) when booking the tour. We actually booked our tickets through the Information Centre in the city centre. Use the bathroom/toilet before departure, as the next toilet facility is at Sommarøy where you have lunch. You may also wish to take a bottled drink for the journey. This road trip is definitely highly recommended, and we would do it when we visit Tromsø again.

Norway as a postcard - Norway has got many beautiful “faces”,our idea about the country and fiords has totally changed after this tour. There are beaches all over the coast from Tromso, and all these islands look like post cards,no filters or photoshop is needed. Our guide was very reliable and helpful,he was a super safe driver ( and it’s very important :),he knew all the best spots for the stops and pictures. And yes,the fish soup with cod was delicious!

Day Trip to Sommaroy Island Norway - We visited Sommaroy Island Norway Where time Stands Still without Clocks. Sommaroy Island is approximately 1 hour drive away from Tromso Norway. On our way we stop by so many picturesque viewpoints in Kvaloya. Sommaroy is a unique place where you can see midnight Sun in Summers & Northern Lights in winters. Sommaroy has small population with 350 people declared time free Zone in 2019 which means they removed clocks from all public places. Sommaroy is definitely worth visiting If you are in Norway

Beautiful country - A beautiful country with lots of sights. Unfortunately, hosts with apartments are very anonymous and have no personal contact with the guest but only via mobile phone

Feel a bit ripped off - This tour was just okay over all. Very pretty sights and comfy transportation. However, I do feel a bit ripped off. The description mentions twice “ Plus, stay warm with a hot drink and meal.” it doesn’t say that the meal is an additional cost. It’s 25usd for a pretty small bowl of soup. I think it’s fair to assume that everything in the description is included. It also claims there is a professional photographer. I can’t quite agree with that discription. There’s someone with a nice camera you pay to take photos, but the quality wasn’t any higher than on a phone.

Not synced, so trip missed - So disappointed. Changed date with Viator- which they confirmed and issued new voucher for - only to find it hadn’t synced to pick up location so couldn’t join the tour. Then got contacted to ask whether I was coming for the original date that I had changed. So we missed a much anticipated trip altogether.
