Ignore the bad reviews! - We had an amazing day on the bamboo rafting. Yes the drive was long from patong but that wasnt an issue for us at all as it gives you an opportunity to see what's around. The bamboo rafting was so much fun! We even stopped for a nice refreshing dip in the river. The turtle sanctuary was awesome. It made me so happy being here seeing all the turtles that have been rescued and rehabilitated as they are one of my favourite animals. We went to the elephants ans quad bikes as other members of the tour had these booked. We opted out of these but we did buy a basket of bananas to feed the elephants. We also enjoyed a nice drink of chang while waiting for the people on the quads. The monkey temple was beautiful and the monkeys were adorable! We had a lovely thai lunch and were given a nice little snack box with cake, biscuits, juice and water. The tour guide Molly was really friendly and we learnt a lot from her during the day. And a big shout out to the driver as it was a very long day for him too! Overall this was a highly recommended tour that myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed.

Loved our day!! - The bamboo rafting was such a wonderful and unique experience. The transport there was a little long, crowded and hot, but that is par for the course. Even the monkey feeding was amazing!

A golden day!!!! - We would like to thank our guide of the day who was really perfect on all points. We received a perfect briefing at the start and at each stop we were informed about the travel time, the next activity the time to travel and the time available on site. She's really on top! She watched over the group like a lioness and in complete secrecy. The activities were also at the top with weather that allowed us to enjoy without stress each time. Not like last year with another organization that gave us time for nothing for the same activities! Didn't even have time to see the temple. This time it was the right choice! Activities at the top, organization at the top, our guide at the top! Thanks also to our driver who had to drive a lot of miles to allow us to spend this superb day! ( Les belges 😉).

The bamboo rafting was... - The bamboo rafting was awesome, so was the turtle conservation centre, the waterfall was a lot smaller than expected, the monkeys were so cute, I just couldn’t enter the temple, I didn’t have my shoulders covered

Pleasant but long day. - This is a long day centred around a bamboo rafting experience, which in itself only lasted about 10 minutes. Travel guide. It would have been more useful if the guide allocated to an English speaking group could speak English. This however didn’t make much difference. We stopped along the way for the guide to pick up some drinks and snacks which was very unexpected and welcome. Each bag came with water, fruit juice, biscuits and cake. First stop was the turtle sanctuary. The visit would have been enhanced if a guide had taken us round to explain the work they are doing, however we were left to wander from pool to pool with no explanation. After what seemed like a never ending drive, came the rafting, which as previously mentioned was only about 10 minutes long but was very relaxing through beautiful scenery Then came lunch which was the biggest let down of the whole trip. The place was not clean and I couldn’t trust the food that was served. We were, however given the opportunity of a free zip line experience which some of the group took. The walk to the waterfall was not really worth the effort and was a bit of a let down. Back on the bus to the money cave temple. I have been here before and where have the monkeys god. Last time there were hundreds, but this time there were no more than 20 and all centred around buying a bag of food to give them. The cave temple though was very nice. Overall a pleasant but long day.

Great experience Shane about certain bits. - The rafting was great alongside seeing the lying Buddha, lunch was poor and the 2 hours to get there was a bit much. Shame because the rafting was amazing.

Horrible - Do not waste your money and time with this tour. The tour says 7hrs but expect a 13 hr day so if you want to have a horrible time book it. The bamboo rafting is in someones back yard, it is not an official business. The turtles is in someones back yard shed so that is what to expect. Oh and the waterfall is none existent. The bus ride you will be on a bus with 20 other ppl who got other activities to do but you cant leave until you watch every person do their activity which is not annotated in trip description. Also was forced to sit in hot sun to watch them beat and kick the elephants.

Great activities - appalling driver - The actual activities were excellent and was our guide, the driver of our vehicle was appalling I had to repeatedly ask to slow down, he was speeding 130 kph in an 80 twice nearly ran into to rear of other vehicles. Clearly was overriding the speed limiter as plug a USB into vehicle and when at Police check point it was removed and put in his pocket, then when pulling away put it in again. Considering this was a vehicle carrying multiple passengers the behaviour was appalling. The one star rating is because of the driver - the activity was excellent.
