Great first visit and great guide. - We had a great time in both Pompeji and Vesuvius. A great first visit and the guide, Lorenzo, knew how to tell the story. Good driving by Luigi. Recommendations to those who want to see these sights for the first time.

Superb day trip - exactly as described above - Excellent trip - well organised pick up, cool comfortable coach, great guide (Tony). Got around Pompeii with enough info to make really interesting but not dragged out on heat of day. Lunch 5 mins away really good value. The Vesuvius hike was amazing. Trip exactly as described

Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius - Myself and my family took trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius with Laura our guide. It was a super trip. Laura was excellent guide and gave a lot of really interesting facts. Pompeii was phenomenal, I hadn’t appreciated the size of Pompeii or excavation completed over the years. It was jaw dropping. Laura made it all the more real with her facts and insight. We didnt book lunch when purchasing the ticket but it was good. My kids and husband climbed Mount Vesuvius, while I stayed behind. Apparently it was very steep initially but worth the climb. Spectacular views from the top. Overall excellent trip. Laura was excellent and it was well worth doing .

Great day trip! - Fantastic experience! They were flexible with the pickup location if you contact them from their website. The guide and bus driver were great. I learned a lot. The guide also took us to see a specific building that was special requested by someone on the tour even though it wasn’t originally part of the plan. Reasonably priced lunch option. Bring sunscreen and water!

Fantastic day out! Thanks Tony! - We had an absolutely brilliant time on this tour. Tony, our guide, was wonderful - he was very polite, friendly and took care to make sure all the guests enjoyed themselves. The tour covers an approx 2.5 hour visit to Pompeii. Tony made sure to point out a number of highlights and carefully explained their history - we really learned a lot. From there we headed to a local restaurant for a hearty and tasty lunch, before making our way to Vesuvius. Jean-Paul’s driving along the twisty inclining roads was exemplary and we got breathtaking views across the Bay of Naples. The climb to the summit was reasonably challenging - a tip: bring appropriate footwear as the sandy path can be quite slippy, particularly on the descent. All in all a wonderful trip which will live long in the memory!

Pics don’t do the sights justice - From start to finish this was one of the best tours I’ve had, not sure if I have put this in the correct place but we booked ours through Tui and I must say they played on the best day, we got updated messages regrading what time we will be picked up and where we will be picked up from so there was no confusion, we started off with Pompeii the guided tour gave us a detailed walk and showed us all the main sights of pompeii and any questions anyone had they was very happy to tell us, just a shame it was cold and raining, it didn’t spoil the day as a bit later as we was heading towards mount Vesuvius the clouds disappeared and when we go to the top of the mountain the views was out of this world, the pictures I took does not do it justice, When you go up the mountain there is a guy who lets you rent a hiking pole, to help you up as some of it is a bit gravely and steep it will take around half hour/ 45 mins to get to the top from where they drop you off, They also laid on a meal and drinks for everyone on the tour at a restaraunt called Kona as it was included in the price, it was a well deserved break in between Pompeii and Vesuvius then after Vesuvius on the way back down the coach stopped off at a shop where they let us try so locally made lemonchello They dropped us off back at the hotel which was a touch, 👍

A nice, hassle free way to see the sights. - This is a nice, hassle free way to experience your time in Pompeii and a climb to the caldera at Mt. Vesuvius. We had taken a previous day trip to another site all while trying to navigate the train, tickets, etc. and found this far more relaxing and less stressful. The tour guides were well informed and highlighted the most interesting areas to see. The lunch was good, not great. The bus driver was excellent as it's not easy to drive these roads with all of the turns and twists. I would recommend some hiking poles for the trek up to the caldera at Mt. Vesuvius as the small scree can easier slide under your feet. Overall I would recommend this tour.

Be aware before booking - While the tour guide was great and we enjoyed Pompeii and Vesuvius, you need to know a few things. The tour says it's from Sorrento, but it actually picks up people outside of Sorrento, which means you're on the bus for a VERY long time because they get dropped off first. (They were picked up first, so that's fair.) That part of the drive is very windy and adds nearly an hour to the drive. Had we known this detail we would never have booked this tour and gone with something else. The AC on the bus is not good enough considering how hot Pompeii and Vesuvius were. Instead of headphones that go into your ear like other tours, they use this ear radio thing that is so loud and the volume can only be adjusted by the tour guide for everyone. This means it will either be too loud for some or too quiet for others. The included lunch was wonderful and so was our guide and bus driver. It was the other parts that made this not what it should have been.

No lunch included means no lunch. No alternative. - 1. We didn’t get picked up from our motel. Some people were confused about drop off as it wasn’t in the same place as pick up. 2. We were given an option of including lunch in our ticket. We chose not to as I have a medical condition where I can’t eat many types of food and didn’t want to spend 19 euro and then couldn’t eat the food. I asked twice for a cup of coffee and waiters were too busy serving. BUT if you chose the no lunch option you basically had no lunch. Many people were talked into buying lunch as they took us out of town to a restaurant with nothing else around. One lady was a diabetic and had no choice. It was the same for half the bus. 3. They gave us no time to buy a souvenir at Pompeii and I'm sure that was because they didn’t want you buying food and therefore wouldn’t eat at the restaurant. 4. The area of Pompeii that the guide showed us was not a good choice as there were other areas which were more interesting: I’ve been there before. 5. Mt Vesuvius was fine but Fabiana the guide, acknowledged that she had not given us time for souvenirs at Pompeii and told us to buy them here. They were rubbish. 6. Fabiana the guide had zero care factor for us. Didn’t even ask if we were ok and didn’t try to get us food even though she yelled out a couple of times that we all must be hungry. 7. If you give an option, you cannot take that away because you want to make money. An alternative must be given otherwise don’t sell the ticket. All that was needed was a note with bring your own lunch or give us time to buy it at Pompeii.
