Another successful trip with Joe Banana - If you are looking for a great travel agency, Joe Banana is the best! They really want you to have a great travel experience. When I inquired I spoke to Anna. She was outstanding! She was patient and took the time to understand exactly what was important to me and my family. She was responsive, thoughtful, and always available to answer any of my questions. Our private driver, Giulio, was the best! He was not only professional but also personable, knowledgeable, and made us laugh! He made every car ride feel comfortable, and added so much knowledge to our understanding of the cities we visited. This Italian travel agency really understands how important it it to customize tours. Joe Banana Travel Agency organized the 50 shades of Lemon tour, transfer from Rome to Sorrento, visit to Positano, Ravello, Naples Underground City, Reggia di Caserta, a Mozzarella Factory, a cooking Class and a Capri Boat Tour!
From start to finish, Joe Banana created a stress free, unforgettable experience for my family. My family will talk about the memories we made for years! I highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip that wants peace of mind, expert guidance, and truly personal service. We can’t wait to travel with them again!

A Magical Day in Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast with Angelo - Our day began in Positano, and it felt like we had stepped into a postcard. The views were absolutely breathtaking, with pastel buildings cascading down the cliffs and the crystal-clear water shimmering below. We spent time wandering the charming streets, browsing beautiful boutiques, and soaking in the laid-back yet elegant coastal atmosphere. We all agreed it was one of the most scenic places we’ve ever been and are jealous of those that live there every day!
From there, Angelo—our exceptional guide—took us on an incredible journey through Sorrento. His passion for the region (he was born and raised there!) and depth of local knowledge enriched every moment. One of our favorite stops was a lemon orchard, where Rosa gave us a fantastic tour and tasting. We sampled lemoncello, orange-cello, mandarin-cello, and even black licorice-cello—each one more unique than the last. Of course, we shipped multiple bottles home and couldn’t leave without lemon soap and some unbelievably good lemon gelato.
We also visited Gargiulo, a family-run olive oil producer that crafts over 30 varieties of olive oil. The tasting was generous and delicious, and several bottles are now on their way back to our kitchen. Upstairs in their newly opened restaurant, we had a pizza-making class that was fun, interactive, and truly one of the best parts of our entire trip.
Angelo made everything easy, informative, and personal. His thoughtful guidance and warm personality turned a beautiful itinerary into a truly unforgettable experience. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Allesandro is the best! - We hired JBL to drive us back after dinner later in Positano to Sorrento to our hotel. Our driver Alessandro was incredible! He was safe, so friendly, and we loved talking with him. I would highly recommend JBL and ask for Allesandro, he’s the best!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience - We can’t say enough about our tremendous experience with our service from Joe Banana. Maria, my personal assistant was always there to support and help us if we needed even on her day off. They were absolutely outstanding .
Catello Buonocore (Gabbo!) was our main driver for 10 days and he made our trip so memorable and enjoyable. We did private transfers from Airport to Rome , Sorrento and back to Rome. We did a full day on a private boat with the best skipper, Luigi, to Capri. It was amazing.
We also did a full 8 hour tour of Ravello, Amalfi and Positano. Catello went above and beyond to make us happy and safe. I am not sure the trip would’ve been the same without him or this company! I highly recommend Joe Banana!!! Perfecto!

Magical day along the Amalfi Coast - We had a wonderful experience on our tour with Angelo. He picked us up at our apartment in Rome and was an incredible throughout our day. He showed would drive us to each town, give us some guidance on the best shops or sites we might like to see and then let us wander for a bit before finding us again and making sure we were finding what we wanted to see. He also stopped multiple times along the way to show us amazing vista's, let us take pictures -- take pictures of us all together -- and offer us little tidbits of insider information and knowledge that really contributed to our tour. It was the off-season, and when it was time for lunch and we were looking for a restaurant with gluten-free accommodations for our son, Angelo found us a spectacular option with some of the best food of our entire trip. It was a fantastic experience and both the guide company and Angelo made the experience unforgettable for the entire family!

Amalfi Coast - We used Joe Banana Italy for all of our transportation needs…airport transfers and private tour of the Amalfi Coast. The company is very professional, easy to use website, provides good communication and was reliable. I’d highly recommend.
Daniel was our driver for our arrival in Naples and drive to Sorrento. He was fun, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the sights. We then requested him for our private tour. He showed us many great sights, took pictures for us and gave us great ideas of what to see/ do in each city. Definitely recommend you ask for Daniel!

Best Amalfi VIP tour from Naples! - Our guide, Gianluca, was fantastic! So knowledgeable and professional! The Mercedes van was VIP level as well. Very well worth the cost! The trip is highly recommended.

Fabulous Day Sorrento, Positano with a lunch to remember - We had a tour for the day while on a Mediterranean cruise stop in Naples Italy. Bruno picked us up at the ship as instructed. He was wearing a suit and driving a black SUV which was so comfortable for the day. Bruno explained the area and our first stop was a road side view of the coast and a taste of a cold lemon non alcohol drink from a local vendor. The view was stunning. Then to Sorrento with time to walk, have a cappuccino and shop. Next stop lunch at a wonderful restaurant on the side of the mountain overlooking the Amalfi coast below. The food was delicious served 4 course meal wine, caprese salad, margarita pizza, 3 types of pasta and fruit with gelato for desert followed by limoncello shot and cappuccino to finish. Then to Positano to have time to walk down to the beach, more shopping. A wonderful day, delicious food and the best tour guide Bruno. Best tour! And the tour company kept in touch with us to make sure everything was going well. Worth taking as a private tour. The best on our vacation.

Fun tour / Lemon Farm was awesome - Our driver is the main reason we are only giving this 3 stars and not more. He made rude comments about women and Japanese people while driving us and it just did not sit well. Additionally he told us he had to rush home so he could watch the Napoli Champions League Match and then proceeded to drive like a maniac. Passing cars, honking, cursing. It was not the vibe we would have liked for our honeymoon drive. Our only gripe with the tours was we wish we had 20-30 more minutes in each spot. An 60-75 minutes just didn’t feel long enough but we did get to explore and enjoyed both Positano and Sorento. We did the lemon tour with Ruocco Rita. And we loved it. It was so cool to see a small farm that is self sufficient. She made a great meal for us and showed us around her lemon orange and Olive tree farm. I would highly recommend this tour for a change of pace from the historic/church tours we had done on our trip.
