Top-Tier Service — Our Go-To in Positano! - Excellent, professional service once again from Umberto Limos! We first used this company eight years ago during our Italian vacation and were so impressed that we made sure to reach out to them again for our recent trip. We’re so glad we did!
Umberto himself has become a friend over the years—he speaks excellent English and always makes you feel welcomed and well cared for. He and his team of drivers are the epitome of professionalism, offering top-notch private limo service in pristinely maintained Mercedes Benz vehicles. This isn’t a taxi—this is luxury transportation done right.
This time around, we also had the pleasure of riding with Max and Gennaro, who were both wonderful—friendly, prompt, and extremely courteous. Every ride was smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. Gennaro even picked us up at 4AM in Sorrento to make sure we made our return home flight from Rome in ample time.
Be sure to book well in advance, especially during the busy season (May through October), as they are in high demand—and for good reason!

Best driving tour we have had - My family and I did a driving tour of the Amalfi coast and our driver Umberto (not the owner) was absolutely amazing! He knew everything. As we were driving he pointed out so many things we would have never known. He was so kind, funny, and had great suggestions on where to go and eat. I would book every tour with him.

A great shore excursion day for the Amalfi coast, Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii! - We had a great experience touring the Amalfi Coast, with stops in Sorrento, Positano, and Pompeii, plus a visit to a local limoncello factory. It was a full day, but everything was really well-paced and enjoyable.
Our guide, Gennaro, was excellent — friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He shared a lot of interesting facts and stories along the way and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. What really stood out was how organized and attentive he was, especially in keeping us on time to make sure we got back to our cruise ship without any stress.
Along the way, Gennaro also organised a limoncello factory visit, which was a nice touch — quick, fun and with some great samples to try.
As part of our trip, the company also organised a Pompeii tour guide who was very experienced, humorous and knowledgeable.
Overall, it was a brilliant day out and definitely worth the private tour for a group/family as opposed to a cruise ship led shore excursion, as you can still ensure you are back on time!

Amalfi coast tour - Umberto was amazing! My husband & I visited Italy for our honeymoon. We booked a private driver to tour the amalfi coast and couldn’t have been happier with Umberto! He is kind, informative & truly exceptional! He gave us the history of all of the towns, took our picture at different destinations & made us a reservation for lunch with a beautiful view! We couldn’t recommend him enough.

Personal tour of AMalfi - Our driver, Nico, was just amazing. Friendly, funny and very accomodating. We became friends very quickly. He showed us places we would never have found on our own including some of the smaller towns people tend to miss. His car was immaculate and he is a really great driver managing tight spaces with ease. If you can get Nico do it!! You will be very happy you did!

5 stars! Very communicative and accommodating - 5 stars all the way around! We booked Umberto Limos Positano for various needs throughout this past week in Amalfi Coast. Our flight was delayed coming into Naples, so we had to rush to get the last ferry to Capri or else lose money and a night on the island. Our driver was very flexible and communicated throughout the entire delay to ensure we would arrive at the ferry on time. We had a different driver of Umberto's from 10am to 5pm another day - Alessandro - he accommodated our request to find a bank, drop luggage at a hotel for a friend, and waited in the car with our luggage while we explored. Took us to Pompeii, arranged for a private guide while there and then took us to our hotel near the airport for the evening. It was incredible. This morning, the car was waiting 10 minutes early to take us to the airport!
Umberto and his team are beyond accommodating and so kind. I would definitely use this service again!

Day trip from Sorrento to Path of the Gods - Nico picked my wife and I up promptly at our hotel in Sorrento. After explaining the days agenda, we hiked the Path of the Gods, ate at a local restaurant near Positano, walked around Positano and then returned to our hotel. Nico was professional, informative, entertaining and truly a nice guy. I would highly recommend Nico for a day trip in the Sorrento/Positano region.

Fabulous Day with Nico - Nico was prompt in picking us up from our hotel. He was delightful and immediately we felt like we had known him for years ! We went over the plan for the day and he shared locations of pertinent meeting points with us. We hiked the Path of the Gods and met Nico when we were finished . We then went to an amazing Italian Trattoria for a fantastic lunch with food and wine. After lunch he drove us along the Amalfi Coast to Positano where we explored the town for a while. It was wonderful . I highly recommend this tour and Nico !

Sorrento/Amalfi Coast - Niko first picked us up at the train station in Naples and brought us to our hotel in Sorrento.
A few days later, we had an eight hour tour of the Amalfi coast, and Niko was our driver. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind, and accommodating. You will not find a better driver than Niko for any of your needs in this area.
If you need a private driver or transportation, please use this company as we were extremely pleased and could not make a better recommendation
