Private Car Service from Rome to Sorrento - We travelled from the US to Italy to visit our daughter, who was studying abroad in Sorrento. We wanted to be sure we made the most of our time with her and opted for the car service from Rome straight to our hotel in Sorrento—it was one of the best decisions we made for our trip.
Francesco (aka The Barber) was waiting for us outside baggage, scooped up our suitcases, and loaded us into an impeccable Mercedes van, where comfortable seats and water awaited us. He was courteous, humorous, and filled with information about the various towns and regions we passed through. Recognizing we were also travel weary and time lapsed, he also let us enjoy a rest.
By the time we arrived in Sorrento, we took his card with a plan to make him our go-to guide. We had a great time exploring Southern Italy with our daughter, and then tasked Francesco with finding the best pizza in Naples before driving us to the train station for the high speed line back to Rome.
Francesco was amazing, not just because he was so professional, but he offered recommendations based on our conversations: which platform to find the best coffee in the Naples train station, who has the best gelato in Sorrento, and even explaining why Pompeii’s incredibly fertile, mineral-rich volcanic soil (thanks to the eruption of Mt Vesuvius) makes for some pretty incredible wine.
All in all, we are already planning a return to Italy, and that trip will absolutely include Francesco.

Our driver was wonderful!... - Our driver was wonderful! We did a private transfer from the Rome airport to sorrento and our driver met us, helped with luggage, and made the whole experience feel so safe and easy!

Best driver ever!!!! - We were greeted by Francesco with an infectious smile and personality to match which put us in a positive & relaxed mood to start our trip to Sorrento. Francesco showed us all the features of the vehicle to ensure we were comfortable and safe. Along the way he was so informative with a wealth of knowledge. He continued to check if we needed to stop for anything along the way. Once we reached our destination Francesco went above and beyond to help us with a potential issue regarding our accommodation. Rome to Pompeii to Sorrento - My husband and I rode with Gennaro from Rome to Sorrento and we were able to stop at Pompeii on the way to spend a couple hours! It was perfect and while we walked around in Pompeii our bags were secure in the car and Gennaro made sure to check in with us to make pick up easy when we were ready to leave. The ride was very comfortable and I was able to take a nice nap on the way to Pompeii and then when we were riding into Sorrento Gennaro was able to give us an overview of the areas we were passing. So thankful to Gennaro for making such a smooth and easy travel day!

Our journey began in Rome, where Gennaro picked us up right on time in a spotless, luxurious vehicle. His warm, charismatic energy immediately put us at ease. From that moment on, it was clear we were in the hands of someone who genuinely cares—not just about the drive, but about every detail of our experience.
We headed to Pompeii, and what we thought would be just a transfer turned into a full-on curated adventure. Great ride, Rome to Sorrento! - Francesco “the Barber” was fantastic. He was prompt, very professional, plus friendly and funny. He kept our group of 6 entertained and informed during the very comfortable ride. He offered a stop at a convenience market where we bought some snacks, and he waited patiently for us during our amazing Pompeii tour, provided by Good Heart Limos. This was a perfect, comfortable way to get from Rome to Sorrento, would highly recommend. Thank you, Francesco!!

Wonderful experience and got some “local” tips along the way - The best experience! We booked a trip from Rome with a stop and tour of Pompeii and then drop off at our hotel in Sorrento. On the way back we booked a trip from Sorrento with a stop in Herculaneum and then drop off at hotel in Rome.
The company was so easy to work with and they arranged the tours with a guide and even sent me links to purchase the entry tickets. There were 4 of us with luggage and the van was very spacious and comfortable.
Francesco “the barber” was our driver on the first trip and he was wonderful, gave us restaurant suggestions for both Rome and Sorrento! By the end of the trip, he felt like another member of our family! Our driver Paulo on the trip back to Rome was great too and suggested a stop at a winery for lunch at the base of Mt Vesuvius which we would have never known about.
Can’t wait to come back to Italy and use Good Heart limos again
