A Fun Family Activity and Meal! - We had so much fun making delicious food and eating it! The class was at our instructor's home in the hills of Sorrento with an amazing view of the bay of Naples, and many of the ingredients we used were right from her gardens! Our host and cooking instructor, Alessandra was informative, entertaining and patient! We had very little experience but it didn't matter. She put us right at ease and showed us how to do everything. Her daughter was there to help with translation and she also took some photos and videos. Alessandra sent them to us with the recipes through WhatsApp so that we can make these fabulous dishes again! We made Ravioli, gnocchi and the most delicious tiramisu I have ever eaten! Now that I am home and telling people about my trip these are the photos I show most often!

Family of 6 from Florida - Our family of six had the most unforgettable experience with Chef Ivan at the Cesarine cooking school in Sorrento. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Chef Ivan was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the evening, guiding us step by step as we prepared two types of ravioli and the most delicious tiramisu we’ve ever tasted.
His passion for cooking was infectious, and his instruction was clear and encouraging—perfect for both seasoned cooks and beginners. We enjoyed our handmade creations with local wine at the end of the evening, and every bite was a testament to the care and quality of the ingredients, most of which came from his own beautiful farm on site.
The views from Ivan’s home were absolutely breathtaking and added an extra layer of magic to the entire experience. His assistant, Toni, was wonderfully personable and helpful, adding to the fun and relaxed atmosphere. We were also transported to and from the experience by Ivan’s lovely wife, Rosaria, whose kindness and hospitality truly completed the evening.
This was a highlight of our trip to Italy and an experience we’ll treasure forever. Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful experience - This was one of our favorite experiences we had in Italy! Ivan and his Rosalia at Casale Guarrancino were warm and inviting. They taught us how to make ravioli and tiramisu that was absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful day and we will definitely do this again if we return. Loved every minute of our day with them. Can’t thank the Guarrancino family enough.

Authentic, unique, delicious - We were paired up with the sweetest Cesarine Laura and her son Nicola in a more residential area of Sorrento. Laura & Nicola treated us to an authentic experience of wine, anti pasta and dinner. The gnocchi, ravioli and tiramisu were excellent! It was truly unique to be able to experience Italian cuisine with a local. Would highly recommend and we will be making these recipes on our own in the future!

Amazing family cooking experience - Our afternoon cooking class with Alessandra & Rubina was absolutely amazing! Me, my wife, and two daughters had the most incredible family experience and loved the food and the lesson. We were picked up and dropped off back to our Hotel, Alessandra & Rubina were great with our two kids as well. Thank you Alessandra & Rubina!

Authentic Italian experience - Martina is amazing, such a great experience she shares her passion for Italian cooking, herbs and vegetables where from her garden .
We made Ravioli, Tagliatelle and Tiramisu.
Lunch was finished of with homemade limoncello.
View over Sorrento was fabulous.
Would highly recommend this experience with Martina and her Nonna.

Excellent Cooking Class for a Couple! - Alessandra's cooking class was excellent! We learned a lot about making pasta and she took us step-by-step through the process. It was lovely to enjoy the meal on her terrace overlooking Sorrento at sunset. Alessandra was so kind, her home was beautiful and the food was delicious. We would recommend this class to anyone looking to do a cooking class in Amalfi!

Highlight of trip to Italy! - This cooking experience far exceeded our expectations! We felt like long lost family welcomed into Alessandra’s beautiful home! She and her helper put us at ease…we laughed and exchanged stories, tasted grapes from her rooftop with the most amazing view, then jumped right into the cooking and explanations. She explained the cooking techniques thoroughly…not like a professor lecturing, but like you best friend helping you cook a new dish. Most of the elements we cooked came straight from her garden. She allowed us to really make things, like the dough, ravioli and more. However she had ingredients measured out and ready so everything moved along quickly. Honestly I can’t wait to show off my new skills as soon as we get home. I can’t express how PERFECT this experience was! The food was amazing! And to know that we made it was even more exciting. This was truly the highlight of our trip to Italy!
