The afternoon presents an excellent opportunity for you to hone your skills during our monitored ‘free surf’ periods.\n\nExperience the essence of Moroccan surfing life and share in our enthusiasm for the seaside and surfing.

Great surf school, amazing experience - Great experience the beach they drive you to has the best waves for beginners, by the end of the day we were standing up surfing due to the great teaching from Mohammed

Surf course that enabled me to make great progress - I took the surf course for three consecutive days. Communication with the surf school management was very pleasant and accommodating (thank you, Beth!). The instructors were excellent—no one has ever explained it to me so well. This course has helped me make great progress on my journey from beginner to advanced surfer!

Highly recommend for surfing in Morocco! - I'm so glad I chose to stay and surf with Shaka Surf!
They really know how to help you have a relaxed and fun surf stay in Morocco. I enjoyed every surf lesson, the food, and the company. I got to explore and surf various surf spots, and progressed a lot during my week with them.
I highly recommend doing day surf experiences or staying at their accomodation too :)

Taking the worry out of giving surfing a go - This was my first time surfing and in the area in general but booking this excursion removed any concerns I had.
I was picked up from hotel and taken to a spot before we moved on to better waves. The beach that we landed on was gorgeous. The instructors took us through a warm-up before taking us through some drills on the beach before launching into the water.
The instructors spent the day with us honing our technique and was pleased to say I learnt to stand (just about 😂) on my first day.
Definitely recommend and Beth was so accommodating with my changes and also helped me with some local logistics such as planning my transport.
I met another group in the beach so I would recommend if travelling solo.

Great surd experience - Great day! Taxi came directly to our hotel and took us to the beach, we got a 2 hour surf lesson and managed to stand up by the end having not surfed before! Baguette sandwiches were provided for lunch which were tasty and then we were free to surf/relax on the beach as we wanted in the afternoon before a taxi was provided back to the hotel. Everyone was really friendly and professional, the communication was great too. Would definitely recommend!

Couldn't recommend a better 1 day surf experience. Have come back for a second time! - As beginner surfers, we booked to join Shaka Surf school for 3 days on our holiday in Tamraght. Every session we were picked up on time by a taxi (which was included within the cost of the surf session) and also provided with a delicious lunch! The locations change each day to ensure you get the best surf for you and the surf instructors are second to none. The number of people within the session are never too much, meaning that you get true one on one time and can learn and develop.
We've done several surf schools in different countries and Shaka surf will always be our favourite. So much so, we've come for a second year in a row and looking to stay at their place for the week instead in the Summer.

November 2024 surfing - 4 days of amazing surf with the guys from shaka surf, they are patient and good with instruction and give assistance when needed. You are made to feel so welcome by these guys like part of the family. They take you to the best surf location for the days, and will work to tour ability 😊. The groups sizes ar3 nice and small, so you don't feel overwhelmed.
This is the second time I have used these guy on my surfing adventures in agadir, would hill recommend them as your next surf trip guide.

Full day surf experience with kids. - Beth was very reactive and helpful.

It was nothing to me - Unfortunately, I wasn't that excited.
The beds were very uncomfortable for me, the windows let through any noise.
The surf instructors were nice but I stayed at other surf hotels in Morocco where it was better. Unfortunately, teachers have often focused on just one person.
For the price okay but I was much happier in the other hotels and the vibe was also very different.
