Great value half day tour - Private Half Day Tour Roman Coliseum EL JEM Ala was right on time picking us up, air conditioned car and misting fans kept us cool on the hour long drive to El Jem. On the way Ala talked about Tunisia’s history and what they grow here, a lot of olives, figs, peaches, almonds. He spoke about the colloseum’s history and origins, pointing out interesting facts about the structure and how the different parts were used, we had about 30 mins after the guided tour to explore on our own. There are a lot of steep steps to the higher levels so not great for anyone with mobility problems, but what a view at the top! Ala gave us a bottle of water and took us to the museum, with a guided tour of the mosaics and Roman road and ruins of a settlement, he was very knowledgeable. He went at a pace that suited us, covering the most interesting exhibits first as we had a teen with us who was not as interested in the history as we adults! Back to our hotel by lunchtime, but could have taken longer had we just wandered around the museum in our own as well as the tour. Ala is a great guide and looked after us well.

Excellent experience - Alla was a fantastic guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the perfect amount of time at each place and he left us to a bit of time on our own at each place which was nice. We even had our own choice of music for the car journey!

Family holiday in Sousse - Welcoming, the charm of the seaside, the beaches; well supervised visits feel safe better than in France

Yeah, good! - Very good half day with Alaa as guide. Perfect transfer from Hammamet with Alaa at the wheel who does not hesitate to describe Tunisia (economy, politics, culture, ...). The Colosseum of El Jem is superb as well as its museum on antiquity with many mosaics to discover.

A Wonderful Morning Out - Alaa was a fantastic guide. He was passionate and knowledgeable and a great DJ :) The tour was nice and relaxed, paced well with no dead time but also no rushing about. I would recommend the morning slot in the summer months as it gets really hot. The amphitheatre and museum are amazing, really interesting and stunningly beautiful. The mosaics in the museum are mind-blowing in their creation and intricacy not forgetting they are around 2000 years old. A very worthwhile trip

Very good excursion - Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, good and interesting trip to a relatively well preserved Colosseum in El Djem. Much better and more personal than on a big bus.

Tunisian delight - We took a private tour of the amphitheatre and roman museum in El Jem by Alaa and his driver. The tour started and ended at our hotel. It was a great experience to explore the amazing amphitheatre, and then we moved on to see the beautiful mosaic floors at the museum. Both locations were quiet, just a few tourists. This is an experience worth taking, and paying extra for the private tour. Alaa was very informative throughout the tour, and gave us some personal time to explore. The amphitheatre is definitely a Tunisian delight.

Interesting structure still as a ruin - Amphitheater is worth seeing. However, travel individually. Group experiences are hardly suitable for individualists and, at best, for tourists who cannot or do not want to do it any other way.
