Robben Island Museum - The journey continues to the Silo District, where guests will be escorted to the Nelson Mandela Gateway. From there, a shared charter to the Robben Island Museum will be taken, where a former political prisoner will lead the tour of the Island. (Please note that the tour guide/driver will not accompany guests on the Robben Island Museum tour.) The entire experience lasts approximately 4 hours, including hotel pick-up. Part of the tour involves transportation around the island by bus, followed by a visit to Nelson Mandela’s prison cell and a walk along the path to freedom. Upon returning to the Jetty, the tour guide or driver will meet guests at the entrance of the Nelson Mandela Gateway.
