Boat trip there was... - Boat trip there was informative with humour. Entry to the sanctuary was quick and easy. Koalas were first thing we saw, plenty of them and up close. Walking through the park among the kangaroos and wallabies was excellent, they were so calm and friendly. Many other animals to see too. Boat trip back was relaxed.

Brilliant don’t miss it! - This was such a wonderful day! The river cruise was spectacular which was a great start. The commentary was informative and entertaining. But the highlight was being so close to the Koalas and Kangaroos. A great venue. Well done!

Koalas and Kangaroos - I was initially slightly sceptical about the trip however I could not have been more wrong. This was an extremely well run outing which starts off with a very interesting boat trip to the sanctuary a 3 hour stay and then the boat trip back. The Koalas are incredibly cute and the kangaroos very friendly. There are also loads of other animals including Tasmanian Devils and wombats. If the success of a trip is based on photographs then this is a 10 out of 5. This was a truly memorable experience which suits all ages. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Lovely day but wrap up warm for the boat…. - We’ve just been on this trip and I have to say it was excellent. Seeing the animals and birds and the shows was definitely worth the one hour river cruise beforehand. We got to see all the animals we were hoping to see out there - obviously the Koalas (loads and loads of them), Kangaroos, Wombats, Tasmanian Devils, Platypus, Cassowary, Possums and crocodiles, to name but a few. Quite a long river cruise to get there and it was really, really cold on the boat (it is winter over here in July). Definitely wrap up warm (blankets are provided on the boat but I had shorts on and it was freezing). So bring layers. You can purchase food and drink on the boat and in the sanctuary too.

Awesome day! - What an awesome day! The river cruise is fun and enjoyable. And the sanctuary was amazing! Close up encounters with wallabies, kangaroos and more. Plus so many animals to see and learn about. They also have lots of koalas which are close and were pretty active. Would definitely recommend this tour. We both left with smiles on our faces!

Cruising, Koalas, and the Best Breakfast Sandwich Ever - I loved every second of this tour! The river cruise was beautiful, with great food and drinks available at very reasonable prices. I had the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever eaten right on board. I also enjoyed the live commentary about the different bridges and landmarks along the Brisbane River. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was fantastic. The koalas are clearly well cared for, and it was very easy to book a close encounter. Photos were taken using our own devices, which I really appreciated. I got to pet a sweet koala named Pretzel, who was super soft and couldn't stop eating during our visit. I took so many cute pictures! There are also plenty of other animals at the sanctuary, including Tasmanian devils, dingoes, lizards, snakes, and crocodiles. There’s so much to see, and I enjoyed every moment. After exploring the sanctuary, the cruise took us back to Brisbane, which made the whole trip smooth and relaxing.
