This beach is a great starting point for beginners and experts alike, since it has shallow water that is easy to launch in. Our beach is one of the easiest places to access the pristine shoreline of Secret Beach, a local wildlife preserve, and the mouth of the Upper Truckee River. You’ll also have a clear view of some of the tallest peaks above Emerald Bay, Desolation Wilderness, and Cave Rock. Parking is free here and access is easy.
