This paddling adventure provides a delightful glimpse of the picturesque landscapes and gentle rapids of Castle Valley! Our half-day excursions offer approximately 2 hours on the water, allowing participants to soak in the stunning beauty of this sandstone haven. Begin your journey at the Mild to Wild office for check-in and river preparation! The guides will equip you with a PFD (personal flotation device) before embarking on a scenic 40-minute shuttle ride to Castle Valley. Upon arrival, a safety briefing and paddling instructions will be provided before setting off with the group for the next couple of hours. Kayaking trips accompany the rafting trips, with guides offering guidance as you paddle. Kayaks travel faster than rafts, so occasionally, you may need to pause and wait for them, providing more time to enjoy the scenery! This is a gentle rafting experience, featuring mostly calm flat water with a few rapid sections along the route.
