Valley of Beauty and History - It is a unique and very informative tour. The guide was great and her knowledge of the history of the Valley couldn't be better. She had use listening from start to finish and even showing us pictures she took of the different seasons of the Valley. The Valley was beautiful but the history that went with it made it extra special.

Loved all of it! - Absolutely wonderful! We loved our tour. Kids had a great time and we all learned so much. John was amazing as a guide. I think I learned more about the Navajo and their history during those three hours than I have ever before. If you’re going to Monument Valley, taking this tour is a must. We would have missed so much had we just driven ourselves.

Cultural tour of Monument Valley - The 3 1/2 hour cultural tour was excellent. Our guide, John, was very knowledgeable of the Monument Valley area, the people, the language and especially the history of the code walkers. We were able to visit areas not accessible by those choosing to do the drive on their own. We highly recommend this tour when visiting Monument valley. A must do.

Never a bad tour with Viator. - Our guide John was great! Gave us so much information on the monuments and shared so much information regarding his Navajo culture. We had an unexpected private tour. A tour makes viewing Monument Valley more detailed because you can tour areas not available to people driving their vehicle. We also heard John play a wooden flute. Made the area feel magical.

Monument Valley tour March 2026 - Evonne was made our tour interesting and personable. She shared stories that Explained the Navajo culture and beliefs. Visiting the home of a local family was also a wonderful experience - with a demonstration of making yarn from sheep,s wool, and the meaning of designs woven into the blankets and wall hangings. It was a windy day that brought heavy gusts of dust, Evonne suggested we ride in her SUV which made the journey comfortable.

An amazing tour through an amazing park - We went on the extended 3.5 hr tour with our very competent, informative, and entertaining guide Darren and experienced various aspects of the entire Park, including a visit in a Hogan and plenty of photo stops along the way. Our tour guide was very helpful in suggesting motifs and even taking pictures for and with us. This was a tour we will remember!

Magical tour of the monuments. - We did the 3.5 hour cultural tour which was excellent. Our guide Stephen was friendly and informative - we learned a lot about the Navajo culture and history. We were so glad we booked a tour - you get to see and learn so much more than just trying to drive the road yourself.

Storytelling at its best - Monument Valley is full of incredible sights, but we were more interested in Navajo history and culture. We booked the 3.5 hour tour and from the start our guide Levander was telling us lots of stories. We learned about growing up on the reservation, what it's like to live a traditional Navajo life, myths, and so many other stories. If I were to describe the tour in one sentence, I'd say that Levander was a great storyteller and that his stories will stay with us forever. I can't recommend this tour highly enough.
