This was so much fun! I... - This was so much fun! I think it was the best day of my 11 year old's life :) Tyler was so personable and friendly and made sure we felt safe and confident for the repelling. Would definitely do it again!! Goblin Valley is also truly spectacular- no place like it on earth.

Incredibly fun experience! - Tyler is an excellent safety-focused teacher. I had rappelled before, but the other four people in the group, aged 20 to 72, had zero experience. Tyler showed them the technique on small boulders and gave them the confidence to lean back over the rocks and smoothly rappel 100 feet down to the cavern floor. We spent 12 days exploring Southeastern Utah, and canyoneering in Goblin Valley State Park was the highlight of our trip!

Well worth the time and money. - We rappelled into the Goblin's Lair with Tyler. He was fantastic. Absolutely put my 63 year old, scared of heights, wife at ease with his focus on safety and fantastic personality. Couldn't believe she did it the first time and she's already talking about doing it again.

Best adventure in the area hands down. - Do not miss this! What an adventure! Tyler was our guide and it was an amazing adventure. We've done a lot of excursions and this one is tops! Great detail on the history and geology of the area. The actual canyoneering was an absolute blast. Thank you Tyler!

Mini hidden gem! - Beautiful, overpriced, semi-secret, secluded, magical Utah state park! It was super remote (positive), quiet (super positive), and a mystical (goblin faces) park to visit! Take your shoes off and "earth" or "desert bathe" in Goblin Valley! Hiking, bouldering, mountain biking, camping, etc- with additional slot canyons nearby to explore! Sadly, I'd say only a day to maybe two days worth of excitement!

A+++, 100%, 5 stars - Tyler was an amazing guide! The guy had great energy from the beginning, all the way through. He was very, VERY knowledgeable about the history and the geology of the area (as well as canyoneering), and his delivery in providing the information was entertaining; captivating. As someone who has dealt with some fear at heights before, I actually felt very comfortable repelling almost 100 ft down into Goblins Lair under his guidance. I ABSOLUTELY would do this tour again and I’d be hoping I’d get linked up with Tyler again!

Utah Highlight - One of the best experiences of our trip to Utah from the UK. My partner and I booked the 4 hour canyoneering adventure, and we were lucky to be the only two on the tour. Tyler, our guide, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly reassuring. He answered all our questions and made us feel completely at ease. We really appreciated the demo station before the rappel, where Tyler explained all the gear and safety procedures. It made the actual descent feel much more secure and helped settle any nerves before stepping over the edge. The rappelling (abseiling) into the Goblin’s Lair was unforgettable. It looks absolutely spectacular, and descending into it felt like something from a movie. Pro tip, send the first person down with your best camera to capture a great video of the other person’s descent, it makes for a really special memory. The canyoneering involves a bit of scrambling and wiggling through tight spots, but as long as you’re in decent shape, it’s perfectly manageable and really fun. The free hanging rappel was a particular highlight, a bit scary, yes, but that’s part of what made it so exciting. I took it slowly, partly to savour the moment, and partly because I was nervous. Bring 3 to 4 litres of water per person. It gets hot, and the hike back after the lair offers no shade at all, so hydration is essential. Also, bring a small torch or headlamp if you want to explore the narrow caves within the lair, it was an unexpected extra bit of fun. The views in Goblin Valley are amazing, and the rock formations are otherworldly. The history behind the formations and the lair itself is really interesting, and Tyler shared great info along the way. This was a major highlight of our Utah trip, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, nature, and a real sense of achievement.

We had a great time - We had a great time with Tyler yesterday. Weather was great, the goblins were foreboding, the Lair was beautiful, and Tyler was a great instructor. My boys want to go again.
