- Westwater Canyon - This thrilling whitewater rafting experience offers the opportunity to spot petroglyphs from the area’s original inhabitants, as well as historic mining cabins, graves, and caves from the Wild West era. As you pass an ancient Cottonwood tree, look skyward for bald eagles gliding on the breeze, and watch for otters and beavers playing in the eddies. Navigate through 12 exciting Class III and IV rapids. With the guide rowing the raft, participants can relax and enjoy the desert landscape. Midday, the guide will steer to a sandy riverbank in calmer waters for a hearty buffet lunch and a refreshing swim. Continue the adventure downstream, listening to echoes in the canyon, before departing the Colorado River for a comfortable return drive to Moab.
