A Highlight of our Monument Valley trip - Don brought us to backcountry locations not accessible by personal vehicles or general group tours. He told us his personal stories as a Navajo native. He also showed us jaw-dropping photo spots.

Feeling the Spirit in The Trails of the Wind - My wife, granddaughter, and I lucked out with a great tour guide, Don Mose. He was extremely knowledgeable, very engaging, and helped us set up many unforgettable, wonderful pictures. His explanation of the history of the Diné people was extraordinary. His solicitousness of us and our needs and desires was unsurpassed. The natural beauty of The Trails of the Wind (aka Monument Valley) took our breath away. Don was if a bridge from the ancient ones to us today. From our very first stop when he explained the symbology of the hand in a very hands-on way to his assertive sharing of his grandfather's wisdom, we were captivated. The scenery was spectacular: so was our guide.

An Iconic and Incredible Monument Valley Tour - I was having second thoughts when I booked the 3.5 hour Monument Valley tour for my out of town family. Once you drive through the iconic landscapes you feel as though you’ve seen it all. But from the minute we met Don, we knew this tour was going to be something special. Right off the bat Don took us to some spots and shared his tips for some amazing photography. But beyond the incredible photography and drive through the backroads we met people who are stewards of this incredible land and came away humbled. Don is not only extremely knowledgeable but has traveled the world connecting his people and cultures. together. His stories and this tour not only imprint on you, but it leaves you enriched with memories of a lifetime.

So much more than the typical tour of Monument Valley! - My sister and I had the immense pleasure of spending the morning with Don Mose on a private tour of the Valley. He is a wonderful storyteller. Using pictographs as an organizing theme, he interwove descriptions of what Monument Valley means to him personally, to his family, and to the Diné people. This sacred land is alive with his ancestors. Over the 3.5 hours we spent with him, he masterfully led us to understand not only about the Diné but also the broader relationships with tribal groups in the area and far beyond. He emphasized our common humanity. All this while driving us to sites in the “backcountry.” We highly recommend this tour!

Excellent Meaningful Experience! This is the Best way to see Monument Valley. - This morning we had a most memorable experience as Don Mose guided us through the highlights of Monument Valley and the back country too. As we stopped along the way for magnificent photos opportunities, he shared so much about the history and his own incredible stories. As an artist I especially appreciated his sensitivity to the light, the Points of View and the connection to the landscape. I highly recommend you take his tour in a comfort of his large SUV -it’s worth it!

Piss poor reliance! - The tour guide reneged on the 9:00 AM contract I had. Very unreliable. I had to find someone on-site for same price. Awaiting my refund from my booking that did not happen! I don't think I will ever utilize Trip Advisor ever again!
