A perfect day! - We had a great experience with Jack from beginning to end. Our day began with a fun 30 min UTV ride to the slot canyons. Jack got us up to speed on rappelling and we were heading down the face of a canyon in no time. We hadn't been in years and he gave us the confidence to make our initial drop and gain confidence along the way. Jack was a good listener and suited the discussion and trip to our tastes. He is also an excellent photographer which was a coup! We had a great day and even whipped around the sand dunes at the end of our day. Highly recommend. *This is a full day and so you should plan to bring lunch and snacks.

An absolutely incredible time - First off, I dont write reviews. To say I need to be beyond impressed to write one is not an overstatement. Second, not sure of the name - but I know it was a 4 hour hike and rappell in a slot canyon near Zion. For starters, every human in the ROAM office was nice, conversational, and seemed truly interested in seeing us have a good time. Our guide, Ted, was absolutely awesome. He was knowledgeable, open, conversational, and understanding. I opened by forewarning him of my wife's and my ages (50s), and his counter was not sadness or jokes but instead a story of taking folks in their 80s on the same tour. His reassurance never wavered from that point forward. The ride in on the UTV was fun - my kids have never been off-roading like that, and watching Ted skillfully take hills, pits, and bumps (that I wasn't sure we'd pass) was impressive and enjoyable. As for the rappelling, my kids have never done it outside of a gym. My wife and I - not in 20 years. She initially was scared, and my kids were unsure. As for me, this gentleman exuded a compassion and confidence that had put to rest all my worries by the time of the first rappell. I went first and guided my kids down. My wife came last, cheered on by Ted. Every step, every jump (to clear rain puddles), every rappell, came with instructions, patience, and reassurance. And every time we reached a beautiful spot, or a particularly impressive descent, Ted was sure to get a picture for us. By the end, my daughter was climbing down one-handed, as though this was old hat to her. My son kept asking to go first. And my wife, initially rather frightened, regained the confidence she had exhibited years prior. On the ride out my son recorded all the bumps and uneven terrain. Ted saw this and 'leaned into it' so that my son got a few extra bumps and shakes to go with his laughter. Upon return, Ted exchanged numbers with me so he could share the pictures he took. The guide, the canyon, and the experience in total, were stellar. When we planned this 1 week Utah trip, we knew there was too much to see in Utah in 7 days, and so we split our itinerary, demanding at least one more 7 day trip. Rest assured the folks at ROAM will be seeing me again. Gratitude to all the folks at ROAM and especially Ted for incredible memories.

Great guides & amazing views - Conquered some fears but amazing views. Jack & Mikey talked everyone through it and ensured we all made it to the bottom!

Adventure of a lifetime! - Awesome adventure! Legit adventure!!! Jack, our guide was awesome, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and proficient! He knows every nook and cranny!! An adventure we'll never forget! Scary for mom, but not for anyone else. It had it all! Slot canyon, pothole, 100 ft rappel!! Beautiful day!! Thanks Jack!

Fantastic rappelling trip! - Fantastic, amazing, can’t wait to do it again experience! Jack and Josh were the best! 8 year old boy loved every second of it! Will be back again when we are next in the area!

Do it!! Well worth the money! - The trip was so fun. It is very strenuous but what a wonderful adventure! Zaaj was the best guide! Highly recommend if you are up for a fun UTV ride, rappelling (and we all were brand new to this!), and hiking through a river wash area!

The best memories as a family - The rappelling tour was amazing! Wyatt was an incredible tour guide—very patient with the kids. You will not regret this tour! They drive you to the location on ATVs, where you’ll do the rappelling. Let me tell you, my kids, my husband, and I absolutely loved it. It was totally worth every penny. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Thrilling and educational! - Our guide Keith was very kind, patient and supportive as well as going above and beyond to make our experience as pleasant as possible! He also shared a wealth of knowledge about plants and wildlife along the way and was happy to answer any questions we had along the way.
