Trail riding the rim of Bryce Canyon. - Wranglers knew their business. Everyone was very personable. Our guide, Lauren, did a top notch job. Quality of horses was good.

Late snow on the trail. - We went in Mid-May and it had been snowing that morning. We did the short 1.5 hour trip and it was enjoyable but cold. The guide was very friendly and helpful. Just check the weather before you go.

Great for family with young kids - This was very enjoyable. My 7 and 10 year old daughters loved this tour! The guides were very friendly and we had no issues with the tour itself. I had hiked Bryce Canyon the day before and saw people on horseback down in the canyon, which is what I expected to do on this tour. This tour had some great views from the rim of Bryce Canyon, but we did not go down through the canyon. We probably would have if we selected a longer tour. All in all this was still a great tour and my entire family enjoyed it.

Great horseback ride for young and old - It definitely is a ride for folks without much riding experience! The horses were great and the wranglers, Moxin and Rider, were fun!

Slightly underwhelming - It was well organized but it was a large group of 14. The vast majority of the ride was not “fantastic scenery”, but a pine forest. We saw Bryce Canyon for 10 minutes max. There were no “tales of Wild West outlaws and Native Americans”. We heard personal stories from our guide instead, which were interesting but not as promised. She was kind to take photos and videos of everyone and Airdrop them to us afterwards. The horses seemed well treated and we felt safe at all times.

Sorry but my husband and... - Sorry but my husband and I thought this ride was boring, not many interesting items from the guide. Just a ride through a pine forest. Horses were alright.

The Canyon is only viewable for about 10 minutes of the ride. Not worth it, look elsewhere. - We arrived at the Activities Desk to check-in for a 3 hour ride, only to be told the ride had been canceled. The attendant said I was emailed regarding the cancellation. I don't view that as acceptable, especially when other communications were via text. I don't check my email on vacation. Regardless, as my family was there, I asked if there was another ride, any ride, for that day we could do. She called and booked us for this 90 minute ride leaving at the same time as our canceled ride was for. We accepted as it was the only option. It was frankly a waste of time. The ride is mostly through a Ponderosa Pine forest, with almost no elevation change. The ride by the canyon rim was way too short, for maybe 10 minutes was the canyon visible. Other than that 10 minutes, we could have had a similar ride at home, as we have pine forests. What we don't have, is an awesome canyon, which is what we wanted to see. I did check my email whilst at the stable. There was an email regarding the cancellation, with the reason being horse readiness. I asked for clarification from the staff, but received none. As we, and another group, had just ridden said horses, this excuse seemed disingenuous. Given all the above, we will not be using Ruby's when we come back, as there are other stables in the area.
