Ten stars out of 5. - This small business is simply put, EXCELLENT! Customer service is 10 stars out of 5. We felt fortunate to have been paired with Sherwin, one of their most incredible guides. He was amazing from start to finish. He imparted a ton of knowledge about the area. He was very patient & helpful & didn't rush us. Took us to all the highlights of White Pocket. We had planned this trip months in advance & had picture perfect weather, as GREAT LUCK would have it. White Pocket is a SPECTACULAR place. It is fortunate that you "currently" don't need a permit to visit White Pocket. I would not doubt, however that at some point they do start requiring permits. Just glad we got to do it now & there were few people when we arrived. But by the time our visit was over, there were quite a few people queuing up for the visit in the parking lot. The hike from the parking lot to White Pocket is only about 15 minutes. Once you're at White Pocket, it's a very easy stroll around the entirety of White Pocket. So this is an easy visit. I made a 'wish' at, "THE WORMHOLE" (ask your guide about it) & my 'wish' came TRUE (we won the geofencing lottery to hike THE WAVE 2 days later!). If you are thinking about driving the road there yourself, you should SERIOUSLY RECONSIDER. That road is TRECHEROUS! There was NO FREAKIN' WAY I was gonna risk getting us stuck in that sand! This is why we hired Coral Cliffs. And we were SUPER HAPPY we did after experiencing that road. And we heard horror stories of people paying over $1,000.00 to have someone come'n tow them out of the sand. NO WAY we wanted to risk that. I've driven all over the world in all kinds of weather & all kinds of terrain. This was not something I wanted to tackle. And just please FORGET about trying to take a regular car. It will NOT make it. You're pushing your luck even in a Jeep! You will definitely need a very high clearance/4 wheel drive vehicle & a bonus would be to have a winch! Just hire Coral Cliffs to take you. They are experts & will get you there in safety & comfort. This was a magical place on a magical day with an incredibly excellent guide from a wonderful travel company, Coral Cliffs in Kanab, Utah. We will definitely use them in the future.
