Do it! - Candace did an amazing job of driving us in a tour that was away from the buzz of Zion Park. Great views, great info and a really good time. Bob

Time away from the busy park - We loved our time with Candace, she was so knowledgeable about the park and the area! This tour got us away from the park and gave great perspective on Zion. The ghost town was interesting and there is a bit of driving involved, which gives you some time to learn about the area.

This is not a tour in the... - This is not a tour in the bottom of the park but on the outskirts. In peak times the shuttle is the best option for expiring the inner part of the park. The ghost Mormon town was interesting. Candice and her son were very good with the explanations of the town and especially the geology of the area

There was a lot of... - There was a lot of politics embedded in the guide’s presentation. For example, she stated how bad BLM’s management of public lands was and how Utah should be allowed to participate in the land’s oversight. Also, the guide appeared to condone the recent firing of federal workers by citing one instance she knew of in which a federal park service employee was told an assigned task should have taken longer.

Ouch! Refund Please - This tour does not take you into the main areas of the park. Instead you are driven around back roads servicing the outer parameter, looking down into the park. The sites you’ve read about and admired in pictures are upwards of 2-3 miles away. Extremely disappointing and certainly not worth $740 (4 people). Later in the day we drove ourselves through the main gate of Zion and were immediately confronted by some of the most awe inspiring gigantic rock formations one can only imagine. Save your money and see the real Zion National Park on your own. We all felt ripped off. A true waste of time and money.
