Tropical Treasure Hunt Co great fun! - From booking to getting us back to the ship, this experience was a 10+! The owner, Anthony, was a pleasure to work with and so reliable and responsive to all our questions while booking. Our guide, Jake, met us promptly and filled our brains with just enough interesting facts about pirates and their role on the islands to make us feel our totally fun time was also a little educational. The pirate museum was really interesting and I think we would have missed so much if we'd visited on our own. Even the gentleman running the gift shop was delightful and entertaining with fabulous pirates stories. The price of admission, by the way, is covered by The Tropical Treasure Hunt Co. Eventually, we were driven by Mac to a beautiful beach that was far enough away to escape the cruise ship crowds and we were treated to some island libations after solving our mystery. Overall an absolutely wonderful adventure and totally worth the price (private guide, fabulous adventure, museum admission, a ride to and from a beautiful beach and tasty drinks). Highly, highly recommend!

Fantastic end to our stay in St Thomas. - I loved the challenge combined with a tour of a bit of the island. The drinks didn't hurt either 😁. The level of difficulty of the puzzles was perfect for a mix of abilities. Anthony, the owner, was hands on making sure everything went smoothly.

Fun - We didn’t have an excursion planned for our stop in St. Thomas and happened to come across this adventure when checking out a map of the port area. It sounded like fun so we booked it as we arrived to port. This was a lot of fun. Our guide was great, providing us a lot of history lessons as well as stories of his own experiences in the area. We are really glad we took a chance on this pirate themed adventure. It was a really unique experience and well worth our time and money.

Fun adventure - Jake was our guide for the day and was friendly and helpful. The museum where we got our clues was interesting and well-done. We had fun working out the clues and digging up our treasure. The beach was great. We had a little trouble finding the meeting point because our cruise ship docked in a different spot, but it worked out fine.

The Siren Song for One Heckuva Adventure: Alive Men Tell The Tale - My partner and I whole-'ARRRRRR-tedly loved this adventure. From beginning to end, this should be a bucket-list for any travelers to St. Thomas. If you're on a cruise, Anthony meets you at the port to walk you a few blocks back to The Tropical Treasure Hunt's main office where you pick up your explorer gear for the day and participate in a little team-building. Once you've received your instructions (SPOILER ALERT: YOU'RE LOOKING FOR TREASURE), the full day of fun begins with a stop at the Pirate Museum where some edutainment comes into play....you learn some local pirate lore while also searching for clues for your next destination. This becomes the running narrative of the day. Each new set of clues leads you to ever new locales where you may snorkel for clues as you swim along sea turtles and stingrays...where you may be in the bar of a famous dead man piecing together maps...where you may converse with locals for their knowledge....where you may raise some mystery bottles from the deep....where you may find what you've been seeking on a sandy beach. That's the game. The real treasure, however, is Anthony and his amazing crew who introduce you to parts of the islands you wouldn't necessarily see if you were just relying on regular tour operators. This is sightseeing off-the-beaten path all while being lured by the prospect of gold. Part workout. Part Amazing Race. Part teambuilding. All fun. A true Salty Piracy Adventure. Anthony and his team are incredible. We had as much fun getting to know them as we did playing the game. You can tell they have a love for their islands and want to share it in the most imaginative way possible. We will definitely be back for further adventures with them, as our seven-hour journey gave us memories for a lifetime. Some helpful tips: bring sunscreen/sunglasses and your sense of exploration. Anthony has a dry pack to carry your phones and other perishables for the more aquatic piece of the day. Don't worry about food or drinks, either. They've got ya covered.

Absolutely amazing!! - I did this experience with my mom and we had an amazing time on our treasure hunt! We could spend hours in the museum alone, and figuring out all the clues was very fun. This was a great mix of hands on learning, puzzle solving and actual pirate history. At the end of our search we ended up at a tropical paradise where we found our treasure and met amazing pirate guides who ended up sitting down and having lunch with us while they shared their stories! I would highly recommend this adventure experience to anyone visiting St. Thomas. Thank you to the whole team who made our treasure hunt so memorable!

Treasure ahoy me mateys - If you have kids, there is no better way to explore the island and learn about pirates other than the tropical treasure hunt. If you don't have kids there is no better way of exploring the island and learning about pirates either. The scavenger hunt is funa en engaging, the crew is knowledgeable and engaging, and the setup is fascinating and amazing. All of it is a fantastic edutainment exercise, and you would miss out the best way to explore, learn and enjoy

Family Fun - We really enjoyed it, especially with a 11 month old, they were very accommodating of a stroller and the little one. Gave us time to explore the museum and see a little of the beach.

Another great outing with Anthony and the crew! - I am so happy that Anthony is finally getting the recognition for these fantastic pirate adventures that he creates, this isn't our first outing with Anthony and his crew and we will keep coming back again as he always cooks up something new and exciting every time we come down, we did the haunted island, night kayak experience this time around and as usual, we had a great time. He works with the best crew, every step of the way was filled with something interesting and they follow your cues, if you are a wacky crew like we are you can be yourself and have a great time, every stop on the way the crew is perfect, the clues are just hard enough to make you really think but not so difficult that you get frustrated, this is well thought out. If you come with adults only the crew adjusts, if you come with the kids the crew adjusts so you have a great experience every time. If you get to st. Thomas you should put this on your list of things to do, make some memories!
