• Kikuletwa Hot Springs - We show you the hot springs, here called “Maji Moto or Chemka Hot Springs” as well as the local transport options. You can swim and relax in the turquoise blue water, “massage” yourself from small fish or let yourself fall into the water via a swing or from tall trees. A cozy atmosphere including a picnic area invites you to relax. There is also a small market run by locals on the site, which invites you to buy souvenirs.

In the morning, meet your guide at the highway supermarket, where you can grab some snacks for the day. From there, travel a few kilometers along the highway in true Tanzanian fashion using the “Daladala” (a minibus for passenger transport). Riding the Daladala is an experience filled with music, a lively crowd often carrying intriguing items, and spontaneous chats with locals – truly a must-try!
Next, you’ll take a tuktuk to the hot springs, where you can relax and enjoy Chipsi Mayai before returning in the evening.
