Also to enjoy a good tasting local coffee “El Barraquito”. Then we continue to a 500 year old lava flow from the volcano “Boca Cangrejo”, with the view to the neighbouring island of La Gomera. Thereafter we drive a little further in to the Teide National Park, and we arrive at a place where we have the opportunity to take a short walk to the crater of the Sámara volcano. We also will pass by the old peak of the Teide “El Pico Viejo” with its huge lava field of over 5 km². Fairly recent with just over 200 years ago. Further on we arrive at the famous place of the park with an amazing landscape and the great famous rocks named “Roques de García”. Here you’ll have some time to take some beautiful pictures. Good to bring on the tour: water, snack, comfortable clothing and a jumper or jacket, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a face mask - Vilaflor - Across the street at the Parador de Cañadas del Teide there is also a cafeteria and a nice souvenir shop. On the way back to the south, we stop at a beautiful viewpoint of a number of volcanoes and the enormous pine forest. In the village of Vilaflor you will find the oldest and largest pine tree “El Pino Gordo” for our last photo break. And last but not least, a short drive through the wine region of Abono towards your hotel.

Travelling with Francois and "Chica"! - Francois provided us with a great deal of historic and geographical knowledge and not to mention stunning vistas. We also stopped at family run local shop in a small village that was lovely. I believe it was money well spent.

Miguel was very... - Miguel was very informative and easy to talk to. The tour itself gave us time to have refreshments and toilet breaks and just over an hour to spend looking around the museum and to take some scenic photos.
Miguel had great historical knowledge and even helped my son with his Spanish!
We liked the fact it was a small group (in fact we were the only people as a family of 5)
