The only trip you will need on Lanzarote - Lovely, even if a bit expensive. I had been to Lanzarote before as a diving holiday and had heard about the volcanos. I got this as a birthday present for my wife. She loved it. Take a jumper for the colder night air, or just stand next to the volcanic vents to keep warm outside the restaurant. El Diablo was certainly out that night, the views were spectacular and the guide(s) were brilliant. Booked it early when booking the holiday (6 months plus before), but you can book them on most of the sea front desks on most promenade shop streets which would be a bit cheaper. If this is the only excursion you do while on Lanzarote then ' la Wah-Wah' will not disappoint.

A Must Do! - Fantastic experience. Although we didn’t get to see the perfect sunset it was still amazing. Actually getting off the coach and walking up the volcanos was once in a life time. Our tour guide to was amazing and friendly and she always had a smile on her face. The evening meal was delicious and couldn’t fault anything. A little bit over priced with it being £111 a person, but once in a life time you can’t go wrong.

Review - Everything was great the only down side I would say was food selection for the dinner. It would have been great to have a bit more selection but the day was really enjoyable overall

Awful food, avoid at all cost! - We’ve been to the park many years ago and thought it worth another visit this time with dinner included. The food was truly awful and I definitely would avoid as it’s an expensive trip. The starter contained tasteless rubbery goats cheese but it was the mains that was really awful. You get a lot or food, but it’s more quantity over quality. It must have been cooked hours before serving and the chicken in particular was as dry as could be. The baked potato was again grey, dry and overcooked, totally unappetising. The whole plate of food was barely luke warm, potentially a food safety hazard. It was such a disappointment to receive food that had been ruined by being so overcooked and kept warm for far to long. Shame on you chef for allowing this to leave your kitchen!

mass-tourism machine - The bus tour through Timanfaya National Park was absolutely fantastic. The volcanic landscapes are breathtaking and discovering this unique environment was truly worth it. The only downside was the limited space on the bus — the seats are quite tight, and many people, especially taller passengers, were clearly uncomfortable and complaining during the ride. Unfortunately, the dinner at El Diablo Restaurant completely ruined the experience. The experience is extremely overpriced for what was offered. The food was mediocre, with cheap wine, cheap sangria, and nothing that justified the price. The whole setup feels like a mass-tourism machine: groups are processed one after another, and we were seated at a shared table with strangers without being informed beforehand — apparently the idea of a “nice dinner after visiting a volcano” means eating shoulder-to-shoulder with random tourists while being moved along as efficiently as possible. Aside from the impressive exterior architecture, the restaurant itself is quite basic. In short: visiting Timanfaya is absolutely worth it, but the dinner experience feels like an overpriced tourist trap disguised as a special evening. One star.

Be careful! - I booked the dinner experience for 9/12. A month beforehand my husband fell ill and we couldn’t travel. I cancelled the excursion and received confirmation of the cancellation. On 7/12 the full amount was charged to my credit card. Two emails sent - no response. Phone call - recorded message says”call back later”. I have raised the dispute with my card provider and hope I can get my money back.

Organization left more than to be desired! - We received an incorrect location for the pickup point from the organization MTS globe. As a result, we were not picked up at the agreed point. The communication that followed was very difficult and in bad English. Eventually we had to take the car ourselves (total hour) to be able to join the excursion. That was otherwise fine. Nice look. Food very sober. All in all not worth the price.
