Day 1: Split - Klis - Hardomilje

Guests will be picked up from their accommodation for a city tour. Split, with its origins in the 4th century BC, offers stunning views of the greater Split area and nearby islands. A short drive from Klis leads to Split, where visitors can explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Diocletian’s Palace, which is over 1,700 years old. The town boasts a captivating history and architecture, featuring 12th- and 13th-century Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, 15th-century Gothic palaces, and other structures in Renaissance and Baroque styles.

Day 2: Old Hardomilje Village, Ljubuški Fort, Herceg Stjepana Fort, St. Anthony’s Monastery

Old Hardomilje, located on the ancient Roman trade route from Narona to Salona, is an authentic village with characteristic limestone houses that have been home to generations. The views from this hillside village are breathtaking, offering a truly unique setting. From here, guests will drive to the medieval Ljubuški Fort to learn about its history and see this impressive structure up close. The day continues with a visit to the nearby St. Anthony’s Monastery, where artifacts from the Roman era can be seen, providing a fantastic local experience.

Day 3: River Boat with Lunch, Trebižet Falls (Kravice, Koćuša…)

The Trebižet River flows through the Ljubuški field, where guests can enjoy a relaxing 45-minute boat ride with homemade food and beverages. The nearby Trebižet Falls are the first in a series of local waterfalls, followed by the Kravice and Koćuša Falls, which have recently been discovered by non-locals and are another karst wonder.

Day 4: Hands-on Culinary Tour

Dating back to Roman times, the Ljubuški field has been a rich breadbasket for the region. As a special treat, the host family invites guests to participate in a hands-on culinary tour, starting at the fields where they can pick organically grown crops and join in the cooking experience. Menus vary from traditional pies, where guests roll their own dough, to the acclaimed iron dome Peka roast. All dishes are complemented with rich side dishes, salads, and homemade brandies and wines.

Day 5: Dubrovnik

Less than two hours away is Dubrovnik, one of the best-preserved medieval walled cities in the world and a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is home to beautiful Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces, and fountains. Guests will learn about its fascinating history and have the opportunity to explore the City Walls, Fort Revelin, Minceta Tower, and other local landmarks. As an option, a short detour can be made to the walled town of Ston on the Peljesac peninsula.

After the city tour, guests will be transferred to their accommodation in Dubrovnik or Split.
