Surreal experience - Plitvice National Park is a superb place, with a rich diversity in terms of scenery and color palette. Some landscapes and areas were surreal - we even saw a rainbow forming next to a waterfall. Even though the option we choose was the "self-guided" one, Antonia (our tour guide) made us feel safe throughout the journey and gave us clear instructions regarding our meeting places and next steps. I was also impressed by her jovial and positive attitude, wonderful personality and her storytelling skills. Her being our guide elevated the experience. Highly recommend choosing this tour and her as a guide.

Wonderful tour with a wonderful guide! - It seems like a long drive, but it actually was not bad at all. We saw most of the park and our guide Sanja was excellent!! She was very fun and enthusiastic and kept the group engaged with lots of interesting facts about the park and Croatia in general. The waterfalls and trails were so gorgeous and it's a very manageable day trip from Split.

Beautiful views - I had a great time at the lakes. My tour guide Sanja was very kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend taking this tour! This national park is only 1.5 hrs from Zagreb, so I’d recommend going to Zagreb from the lakes instead of driving back to Split.

Amazing Plitvice lakes tour - Had a great time on the Plitvice lakes tour, our guide Sanja was full of information. Before we got to the bus in Split, Sanja was showing us little bits of the towns history and explained the differences between the two regions we travelled through. Sanja has a deep knowledge on the different type of rock formation and the areas ecosystem which she shared along the way. Our driver Marko ensured we got to and from the lakes in a safe and timely manner. The waterfalls and lakes were stunning and even though it was a cool and overcast day, you could see how beautiful this area is.

Unforgettable - I dont normally book guided tours as you can feel rushed but this was the perfect balance of family time with the guidance and knowledge of Sanja. A fantastic day and a lovely time of year to explore without the crowds

Sanja was the cherry on top! - My wife and I booked a Plitvice Lake Tour with Booker Travel Agency on GetYourGuide.com. Our tour guides name was Sanja. She was an absolute sweetheart. From beginning, to end the trip, everything was very well organized and punctual. We left from the travel agency in Split around 7:25 AM. Our transportation was a new Mercedes transport van. The ride was very smooth and comfortable. The 3 hour drive went by quickly in my opinion. Our driver Frank, was very nice and kept us safe the whole way. The breaks were well placed every 75-90 minutes or so. To break up the drive, we stopped at a really nice cafe / rest stop on the way to Plitvice and on the way home back to Split. We paid our admission fee to the park to Sanja at a reduced rate of 21 euro. Sanja was an excellent guide. She provided lots of information about the National Park, Croatia and it's history. She was very communicative about our itinerary and what we were going to do next. She has great English and even spoke Spanish during the trip. She communicated everything verbally and also through a group chat on our phones, so whether you do a self-guided tour or the guided tour, you are always SAFE, INFORMED, and ON TIME. My wife and I loved her sense of humor too. In the park, we moved along at a comfortable pace and were given ample time to take pictures and videos. She was also gracious enough to take pictures of us when we requested. We HIGHLY recommend Sanja, Frank and Booker Travel Agency for your next Croatian tour or excursion. *** As an FYI, we booked this tour in late October 2025. Plitvice Lake Tour - The lake is really pretty and as it snowed the week before we went, there were still some snow on the ground so made an interesting contrast to the view and the spring weather. Lorvo also provided lots of useful info, we thought it was a self guided tour but ended up doing it as a tour, a bit different from what we expected but overall an awesome experience
