Great way to see Split.... - Great way to see Split. With the rickshaw there was only the two of us and “Mike the Bike” so it had the personal touch. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable and good fun. Thoroughly recommend you try this.

Great overview of the city to orientate - Received an WhatsApp message a couple of hours before to confirm who we were meeting and provided a location to meet. Easy to find start if Riva. Excellent 1 hour tour. Just enough information with humour! You go to various stops around the old town… nice on a hot day with the breeze and not having to drag teens on a walking tour.. they recommended a reasonable restaurant and the best ice cream shop aswell. Highly recommended.

A relaxing way to see & learn some history and enjoy the beauty of Split - Our visit to Split was the last stop on a week-long cruise. My wife and I initially didn't have any plans for Split, but the afternoon before we arrived, we found the Riva Ride Rickshaw tour and decided to book it. We are so glad we did. Micheal reached out that evening via WhatsApp to introduce himself and let us know he would meet us right outside the cruise port gate the next morning. As we were heading down to the gangway, he let us know he was at the gate waiting, but also telling us there was no need to rush, which we appreciated. He was easy to identify with the blue bicycle rickshaw when we reached the gate. “Mike the Bike” was friendly, engaging & excellent host as well as a very informative tour guide. You could tell he absolutely loved his city. He took us down the Riva promenade and then around historic Old Town where we enjoyed seeing & learning about the Diocletian Palace, Croation National Theater, Grgur Ninski Statue and much more. One of the reasons that we chose Riva Ride was the chance to visit a park & the Marjan Forest which did not disappoint. After we were done in the historic center, Mike took us to the beautiful Sustipan park where we got to walk around in the shade overlooking the city, promenade and harbor which was picturesque in addition to being away from the busyness of the center of town. Next, we enjoyed a nice ride up the coast through the Marjan Forest which ended up overlooking the scenic Kasjuni Beach. Our final sightseeing stop was a small peninsula back in the harbor with the local fishing boats which offered a phenomenal panorama view of Split and the harbor. Mike was ready to then take us back to the cruise port, but we asked him for a recommended place to get a cevapi and he dropped us off at Kantun Paulina which was extraordinary. This left us just a 10-15 minute easy walk back to the cruise port. Such a fantastic tour and a beautiful city. For a day we originally considered just relaxing on the boat and maybe walking into town of a bite to eat, this ended up being our favorite destination of our trip. Planning to make a visit back someday to spend a couple days there to explore the city more as well as some of the islands.
