• Cathedral of Saint Domnius - This is Split’s most renowned attraction. Initially built as a mausoleum for Diocletian, the last notable persecutor of Christians, the cathedral’s bell tower has become a symbol of the city. The building’s exterior is still surrounded by an original colonnade of 24 columns. Additionally, the structure houses the cathedral’s treasury, which is abundant in reliquaries, icons, church garments, illuminated manuscripts, and documents in Glagolitic script.
