Our journey begins as we depart from Split Port and track the sun, gazing at the appealing Marjan Park Forest with the Adriatic cascading onto its pebble coastlines. As our cruise continues, we approach Čiovo Island, while the sun gradually recedes to the melody of music, epitomizing our perception of an ideal Dalmatian summer evening. ‘Pomalo’ is a local term in Split that captures a desire to slow down and relax; a sentiment we aim to embody on this tour. As we steer back to the port, the splendid sight of Split, over 1700 years worth of heritage compactly nestled in one area, greets us. The Palace and the Promenade (Riva) appear within reach.
