A Perfect Tour of Diocletian’s Palace - This private tour of Diocletian’s Palace was better than advertised. Dana was an extraordinary guide. Her knowledge of the Palace, the City and the Dalmatian region came across with pride, proficiency and passion. Her quick wit and humour made for a very engaging tour and conversation. We highly recommend this private tour with access to all open and paid areas of the palace, and a very helpful ‘what’s good’ of shops and restaurants in Old Town. For a truly unique and memorable experience ask for Dana! Hvala

Old town Split everyone should visit at least once. - Amazing old town full of narrow streets and almost intact Roman buildings. The old town walk is well worth doing but go when it’s cooler. The wind springs up after 1pm and really helps to lower the temperature. Can be very hot. 35C on 15th June.

Top notch private tour company - From the planning process to the day of the tour, everyone I interacted with was a consummate professional, confirming, clarifying and replying promptly to every question. They customized the tour to meet our needs. I cannot emphasize enough the benefits of a private tour, especially during peak tourist season when the sights are packed with people. Dana, our guide was extremely personable and knowledgeable, proudly sharing her city with us. She went above and beyond by volunteering to call a restaurant to make some last minute reservation changes for us! Thank you Dana, Dinah and Heather for a delightful experience in Split!

Dana Rocks - We were so lucky to have Dana as our tour guide! From the moment we met her, she was warm, welcoming, and full of contagious enthusiasm. Her knowledge of the area, history, and hidden gems was truly impressive, and she shared it in such an engaging, approachable way. It’s no secret that a guide can make or break an experience — and Dana absolutely made our day unforgettable. She struck the perfect balance between informative and fun, creating a memorable, relaxed atmosphere for everyone in our group. If you have the chance to book a tour with Dana, do it — you won’t regret it!

She took us through Diocletian’s palace. The palace was stunning. She taught us so much of the history, architecture - Dana was amazing. She and her family have lived in Split for generations. She knows the history and the culture extremely well, and she presented it beautifully. She is a teacher and it was readily apparent. She was fun and thoughtful. She has a great sense of humor.

Best guide for old town Split - Dana was a fabulous guide. She is warm and friendly. She took us through the Diocletian palace along a timeline to see the full history . She related stories of her life and Croatia as well that brought things alive. She was as excited about the history and architecture as we were which made it all the more enjoyable. You will see and learn so much more than in a regular tour. It’s a must do
