Excellent Tour! Wonderful guide! - Josepa is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable. She made our tour of Split and the Diocletian palace a delight. Each turn was a WOW moment, with her explanations of the incredible remnants of the palace, used for churches, living quarters, and other uses extremely interesting. We were very happy to learn so many historical and artistic facts.

Excellent tour! - Excellent tour with a learned guide (Josipa) and art historian who gave an interesting, cogent and layered tour of the palace. We really appreciated how she connected the history, geography and culture of Spit and why Diocletian built his palace at this peninsula. Highly recommended, especially if you are a history buff.

Personalized, Small Group and Rewarding - Josipa brought Diocletian's Palace to life, not only the buildings and architecture, but the way people lived at the time it was built and in centuries after. The small group settling fostered us asking questions and receiving answers that personalized the experience. We learned about people of split today. We know to rub Gregor's toe for good luck and that Split residents all have a stone in the Piazza. We could answer the question "Where is Let Me Pass road?" It was a rewarding experience.

Exciting tour with an engaging guide - Josipa met us in good time before the trip was to start and checked what we could about the history and if we had any special wishes. She was very good at taking the time to explain the details of what we saw and took the time to deviate from the plan if there was anything that was exciting or we wanted to know more about. Josipa is very knowledgeable and very good at communicating what she could. We recommend her tours on the warmest!

Expert story teller - highly engaging! - Our tour guide, Josipa, was absolutely fantastic!! She is a wealth of knowledge and also an excellent storyteller. She presented the entire history of Split and Diocletian’s Palace as a tapestry of stories that kept us engaged the whole two hours. It was an incredibly hot day and she masterfully managed to guide us to shady spots at each stop so we would be more comfortable but not miss out on anything. When we asked her for restaurant and coffee recommendations, she was quick to provide many options and explained the pros of each recommendation. She also gave us great tips about other activities we could do after the tour based on our interests. She is simply lovely. My mom and I highly recommend her.

Loved exploring and learning with Josipa on our walking tour! - BOOK THIS TOUR! I know there are so many choices to make when planning a visit to a new city, but I highly recommend making a tour with Aspalathos a part of your agenda in Split. My family truly enjoyed our time with our guide Josipa, who shared ancient and recent history of the area, while also teaching us some of her deep knowledge of the art and architecture. We loved the mix of information, storytelling, and the chance to ask Josipa our questions in a smaller group. We referenced her recommendations and lessons countless throughout the rest of our time in Croatia. Don’t delay, book a tour with her as soon as possible!!

Top class experience for first time visit and yet truly accurate (context and values) - Josipa has been a tremendous guide, friendly and knowledgeable at the same time, not only with architecture and historical data, given the fact she holds a full University Degree in History of Art (and you can really tell the difference in the approach of giving CONTEXT to the pure information). She was able to transfer not only the historic relations between architecture, economy and politics, but the vibe of the present city, it's citizens'values and core beliefs. The group was small, it was me and a couple of French tourists and she never stopped giving details and answer questions. Truly enjoyable yet informative. Must recommend also for team building or more formal visiting experience because she definitely is not an average guide (top class)!
