The Tour was Great, The... - The Tour was Great, The only thing I feel that should be mentioned is there is a lot of stairs and no accommodations for disabled.

Only seen 1 ghost! - Had a great time. Learned a lot of history. Only seen 1 possible ghost and got a picture. It was a very cool experience and would go again.

PYTHIAN CASTLE IS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. - THIS TOUR WAS AMAZING THE TOUR GUIDE WAS A VERY ENERGETIC AND FUNNY YOUNG LADY. IT WAS INFORMATIVE AND HAD A GOOD PACE THEY REALLY MADE IT A GOOD TIME AND HELPED EVERYONE HAVE THE BEST EXPERIENCE IN MY OPINION.

Good tour - The tour itself was good and enjoyed the history. The only negative I would say is it was hard to hear our guide speaking. Especially in the video room to begin with. Then if people were still in room exploring she started telling more info and you missed things. I would just suggest a microphone for us older folk. Also a lot of confusion with another group in there at the same time and where we were suppose to go/follow.

Ghosts?!? - If you are interested in paranormal activity, this is for you. The place has an unusual history and an unusual location. The teenagers among us loved it. I admittedly freaked myself out a bit. But it was a fun way to spend the evening!

Castle is fascinating, yet "ghost tour" was a bit odd. - We were there for the castle and would have enjoyed seeing the castle even more in the daylight. For my wife and I, the history of the castle was fascinating and we would love to have seen it all!
The "ghost" portion of the tour was a negative for me and a few others, yet many others loved the idea of the possibility of ghosts in the castle. I myself feel that the orbs were nothing more than lighting in a dusty environment. I would recommend the tour of the castle during the day, other events such as escape rooms, proms, weddings, etc. yet I would never do a "ghost tour" again.

Very interesting and worth a go - It was interesting for the history but other than one room feeling really heavy we didn't have a ghostly experience.

Castle Tour - Good evening. There were some scary parts. Be forewarned there are lots of stairs. Our tour ran late at night and we didn’t get out till after 10pm. There was a great tour guide.

Nice diversion for an hour or so - Pro: It is an amazing building and it was enjoyable to tour. Presentation was prepared well. Easy and safe location to find. A night tour of the castle seems like the perfect time of day.
Con: It was a bit over priced for the few locations viewed out of the 50 rooms in the castle. It would be much better if more rooms were part of the tour. As for the ghostly residents …. none were viewed on this occasion.

History and ghosts - If you like old buildings and a good story, visit the castle. If you want to encounter spirits and need a good scare visit the castle. If you like history of this great state visit the castle. The guides are great and well informed of all things that this building has been through.
