If in Yala, take the chance and book with Janaka Safari - We did the half day safari tour this morning and what can i say. I am SO happy that I found Janaka Safari Tours and booked with them. Our driver Nalaka was the best, we were picked up perfectly in time and ended up being one of the first Jeeps to enter the park. Nalaka explained us before the plan of the day. Within a few minutes we could see, that Nalaka not only knows the park and his car very well but also knows a lot about animals and how to look for the right signs to spot animals first. We got so lucky and saw a lipbear enjoying a meal like literally two meters next to our car. Nalaka after placed our jeep- which we found out later- strategically very clever and served us our very delicious breakfast. Just a bit later while eating, a leopard crossed our way twice. This time maybe not 2 but 5 meters away of us. It was amazing. Beside, Nalaka showed us also plenty of other animals like elephants, antilopes, chakal and many many birds and more and gave us informations about their behaviour. Any time Nalaka positioned the Jeep perfectly for us and still respected wildlife and the animals, which I truely appreciate. He always turned off the motor, when possible drove without to be more quiet and less disturbant to nature. Nalaka pointed out that we were very lucky with our seights which I agree to. But I also think we would not have had these amazing interactions with those animals if we would have been with someone else this day. Thanks @Janaka Safari Tours for this unforgettable day!

Very good experience 😊 - We went for the half day Safari and we saw 3 leopads that day! Our Guide was very good connected with the other drivers, so we were always some of the first jeeps to get there. Pick up and drop of to Tangalle went also very smooth. We would definetely recommend!

Leopard safari - Took the morning safari 4.30-11.30. Well organized & punctual. Saw everything & more, Nalaka our driver was very knowledgeable & stopped often to point out the local wildlife & give info. Thanks Osha for a memorable experience!🙏🏼

Great experience with Janaka and driver Srimal - The Tour meet completely our expectation and we can fully recommend :-) Eventough the flooding only a few days ago we saw a Leopard and Elephants which was a great experience. Recommend this Safari experience with Nalaka - Our safari experience was amazing. Nalaka was so quick and fast acting trying to show us the leopards. We got to see the leopard 3 times within the first hour. He pointed out so many different animals big and small. The breakfast included was also lovely. We got to the park entrance early to be one of the first jeeps in.

Great safari tour - The tour was super led by Srimal. He wanted to give us the best experience and thanks to his expertise we could see a leopard as well as numerous elephants. He also gave very exciting information about various animals.

Amazing safari spotting a leopard - We had an amazing safari experience! Our driver, Srimal, was absolutely excellent — knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about wildlife. We saw a great variety of animals, and he never gave up on finding a leopard for us. Thanks to his determination, we were lucky enough to spot one and spend around 10 unforgettable minutes watching it move naturally through its habitat. It was a memorable experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Fun experience - Super fine guide who spoke good and clear English. Tried to tell something about everything and because of his quick action we were pretty quick with the jeep. Seen a lot of different animals, of course you have to be lucky that they show themselves in such a big park but Su really tries his best and keeps going around in circles until we have seen enough! Even spotted a leopard. Breakfast included was also tasty!

Leopard Special - We booked the Leopard Special and had a great tour with Srimal. The breakfast provided was delicious and more than enough and Srimal explained a lot during the tour. Thanks for everything, we really enjoyed it!

Superb Safari - It's been an amazing experience. Although we did not see the leopard, the environment and the rest of the animals created a Magical Mood. Our guide, Su, did an exceptional job, trying his best to make us enjoy ourselves and see everything possible. Their dedication and knowledge of the place and experience were key.
