Unforgettable wildlife experience - We had an absolutely amazing private safari tour with our 10-month-old baby and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the initial contact via WhatsApp the evening before to the perfect drop-off at our hotel afterwards, everything was flawlessly organized.
Our guide was incredibly dedicated and did his utmost to help us spot the “Big 3” – leopard, bear, and elephant. We were incredibly lucky and thrilled to see not just one, but four leopards, a sloth bear, and several elephants, including adorable baby elephants. On top of that, we saw a wide variety of wildlife including many birds, water buffalo, crocodiles, and more.
The entire experience was smooth, comfortable, and beautifully tailored to our needs, even with a baby on board. This tour will forever remain a highlight of our trip and a memory we’ll always cherish.

Dear guide and beautiful tour - Nice tour and our guide Amila was super nice. Breakfast (Hopper, Roti, Sambal, Fruit) was also delicious. Unfortunately, we haven't seen any leopards, but that's just nature. But elephants and other animals. We felt very comfortable.

Spectacular safari experience - We were in the park today with the tour with our 5 year old daughter. We started at 4:30 sharp to arrive at the gate of the park on time. Through our experienced guide we saw a leopard very close. In addition, mongooses, crocodiles, elephants and even almost a bear. He didn't want to climb out of his tree. The animals are not harassed. A lot is explained and you can ask a lot. And it is driven quickly but wisely. Absolutely recommend!

Leopard in a front row - The safari started punctually at 4:30 a.m. with the friendly pick-up by Su, our guide. After about an hour of driving, the group reached the national park, where a brief introduction took place. It was particularly positive that the participants were able to play an active part in deciding how the safari is designed. Respect for the animals and proper behaviour towards them was also particularly important to him. In the park, the group initially decided to focus on finding a leopard before turning to other animals.
Thanks to the experience and sense of our driver Su, we were able to observe the leopard up close – unlike many other jeeps who were looking or standing on the wrong side. Afterwards we saw numerous other animals such as elephants, peacocks, buffaloes, mongooses, various bird species and crocodiles. Overall, it was a very nice experience made possible by the Yanaka Safari Tour and the competent driver Su.

Best safari for Yala National park - We had a fantastic experience!
Our guide Sudu was definitely the best and super knowledgeable! He took the time to explain everything before the safari and we got in the park almost first.
We saw a leopard, sloth bear, crocodiles, monkeys, elephants and many more.
We did a half day safari which was enough for us but they also offer full day.
You can trust them without hesitation.

Exciting experience - We had a great and exciting experience. Our driver (Y) who was very knowledgeable and thorough did his very best to get us to the park early so that we could be one of the first in. We saw elephants, mongoose, crocodiles, interesting birds…. and a leopard’s tail hanging from a tree!! The leopard itself was camouflaged but we were pleased with the tail! Highly recommended!

Leopard spotted first - Good communication prior, prompt pick up, friendly and polite.
Vehicle comfortable.
Guide was first to spot leopard so we had time by our self before more and more people arrived.
Also saw 2x adult and 2x baby elephants swim and exit lake.
Breakfast was Sri Lankan style which was great.
An incredible experience, girls aged 9 and 11 loved it.

Excellent Leopard Safari with Damith - Our tour in Yala exceeded expectations, and that's mostly thanks to Damith. His knowledge of the park and where animals tend to appear was spot on. We saw a surprising number of animals and learned a lot along the way.

Unforgettable Safari with an Expert Guide - Even though we went in with low expectations—it’s nature after all—Damith gave us a fantastic safari experience. Great leopard experience with Damith - We had an incredible safari experience at Yala National Park thanks to our amazing driver, Damith. He was super engaged and went out of his way to help us spot a variety of animals like leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and monkeys.
Even though we knew sightings aren't guaranteed, Damith's experience made all the difference.
