Best Safari in Sri Lanka - Our Yala safari was life time experience Thanks Tony Tours. We were picked up at 03.00 a.m and then we started our safari at 6.00 a.m . We saw a long queue to enter to park but we didn't wait as Tony had already booked our tickets. We were so lucky to spot the rare leopard with baby and then we saw a big heard of elephants. We learned a lot about flora and fauna . We highly recommend Yala safari with Tony

Yala … was amazing - Absolutely amazing. Early start but so worth. Breathtaking views, submerged in beauty and wildlife with expert knowledge via guide. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Exceeded our expectations. 5 star service from start to finish - A 5 star 10 out of 10 trip from start to finish A personalised private trip was had for my partner and I. We were picked up at 4.45am in a lovely air conditioned car by little Tony (the son) and our driver and whisked away to Mirissa a little over 1.5 hours away from the Riu Sri Lanka to go on our first olanned trip to Go Whale watching, the trip lasted approx 4 hours and we were lucky enough to swe 1 Whale at a distance and lots of playful dolphins. Water and snacks were provided on board. I suggest sitting on bottom deck as mire room to move around. Once the trip was over Tony meet us again and directed us back to the car where we drove for lunch aporox 30 mins from Yala. We stopped at Red Restaurant and the food was incredible and around 6000 rupees for us both including drinks and a tip. Then on to our overnight hotel to chill before following morning drive to Yala. Enroute Tony pointed our an enormous Bat colony and we went back and dusk to see them all fly off....what an incredible sight to see.....100s and 100s of bats. Evening meal at small hotel and then collected at 5am the following morning to Yala Tony arrange packed breakfast also at the hotel for us which was great. We got to Yala and Tony explained we would be some of the first jeeps in as were in the VIP queue as already booked in and paid in advance (again just myself and my partner so lots of space to move around and the wonderful Tony as our guide) We enterered the park at 6am and off we zoomed....the driver was also amazing and spotted do much that we would have missed and Tony knowledge and genuine passion shone through with all his information about the various animals and birds we saw, it was like having your own version of Google next to you, telling you so many interesting facts. Just fantastic. We were incredibly lucky to see a Leopard and Sloth bear and the driver did his very best to get us in the best position for some photos. Along the rest of oyr journey we saw various birds including so many beautiful Peacocks, Owls and a Bird of Prey. Crocodiles, Elephants, Deers Buffallo and so very much more. The safari was approx 5 hours with a stop half way through to use the bathroom and eat our packed breakfast. We left the park and the started our journey back to the Riu but had asked to stop at Galle enroute to see the Fort and Cricket Ground, and an opportunity to walk the cobbled streets and make some purchases to take home. Then to Hikkaduwa for late lunch at R Restaurant again absolutely amazing food was had here as well. Then finally to the Tsanami museam and monuement. This really is a very emotional experience but well woryh stopping at, close to hotel also. I can not say enough positive things about the trip, it was bespoke to include everything we wanted and worth every penny ! I would 100% recommend this family run company, their professional, friendly and exceeded my expectations by far. Happy to answer any questions or help if I can.
