Arrival in Srinagar

Srinagar - Welcome to Srinagar, the Lake City. Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, begin the tour of the ‘Valley of Kashmir.’ You will be transferred to a houseboat. After checking in, enjoy a romantic ‘shikara’ ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay will be at the houseboat.

Gulmarg Day Trip

Gulmarg - Depart early in the morning for Gulmarg, passing by willow trees, fast-flowing streams, and lush green meadows. Gulmarg, known as the meadow of flowers, is aptly named for its picturesque flower-laden fields offering a breathtaking view of towering snow-capped peaks surrounded by dense forests of tall conifers and massive fir and pine trees. Enjoy a leisurely stroll or take pony rides (at your own expense) across the green meadow to one of the world’s highest golf courses. A must-do is the exciting ride on the newly introduced Gondola lift (at your own expense). Return to Srinagar in the evening for a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Pahalgam Day Trip

Pahalgam - Depart early in the morning for Pahalgam, the ‘Valley of Shepherds,’ located at the confluence of streams flowing from the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake. On the way, visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, enjoy the surrounding beauty or take a walk to Baisaren, about 2 km from Pahalgam. This small village set in a pine and fir forest is delightful and offers a great view. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.
