Sonamarg Hill Station - Enjoy a delightful breakfast in the charming Srinagar morning. An assistant will inspect your cycles for the trip and provide guidance.
The journey begins with a flag-off ceremony towards Sonamarg from the heart of the valley, Srinagar. This will be a 30 km ride, offering stunning views of Dal Lake from its banks on Boulevard and Foreshore Road to Ganderbal main.
The Sindh River in Wayil Ganderbal, with its breathtaking views, will energize you until you reach a prominent rafting point at Wussan Ganderbal. You will then ride through the pine forests of Kullan and Gagingear along the Sindh River. Meal stations will be available every 30 km. After crossing the Shuitker crossing point, you will arrive at your destination, surrounded by lush green plains and snowy Himalayan peaks. Overnight stay at our campsite on the Sindh River’s shore in the heart of Sonamarg.
Thajwas Glacier (Distance: 5kms) (2,676m)
Thajwas Glacier - Thajiwas Glacier, located 3 km from Sonamarg in Kashmir, is a stunning site situated 3,000 m above sea level, covered with snow year-round. The glacier is a significant attraction in Jammu and Kashmir, ideal for nature and trekking enthusiasts. Experience the glacier’s beauty by trekking from Sonamarg, or hire a pony for the journey. Along the way, enjoy the sight of a silver-shining frozen lake amidst lush greenery. The contrast is truly enchanting. Encounter Gujjar tribes with their camps set up along the route.

Lamayuru Monastery (Yuru Gompa) - Begin the day with a ride downhill and uphill on winding roads, reaching Bodkharbu, Hasankoth, and Fotula Pass. Fotu La stands at an altitude of 13,478 ft (4,108m) above sea level in the Himalayan Zanskar Range, the highest point on the Leh-Srinagar highway. The drive through the pass offers breathtaking views of rugged brown mountains, with hairpin bends and sharp curves. The area is also known for the Prasar Bharati station serving Lamayuru. Discover the Land of Lama, Lamayuru, and the Moon Land of Ladakh. Overnight stay in camps, with JIO, BSNL, and Airtel networks available.
Khalsi to Leh (Distance 95km) 2987m
Leh Post Office - Ride towards Leh, covering a distance of 95 km. Along the way, explore various villages of Leh and Ladakh, including Nurla, Suspol, Nimmu, and Magnet Hill.
Magnet Hill is a “Cyclops hill.” The area’s layout and surrounding slopes create the illusion of a hill. The hill road is actually downhill, and objects and cars on the road appear to roll uphill against gravity when they are, in fact, rolling downhill. Arrive in Leh in the evening for an overnight hotel stay. All mobile networks are available.
Leh – Khardungla (18,175 feet | 45 + 45 KM)
Khardung La - This is undoubtedly the highlight and pinnacle of the Manali Leh cycling expedition. Mount your bikes and ride on a steep road, taking about 39 km from Leh to reach Khardung La. It is situated at an astonishing altitude of over 18,000 feet. Capture photographs of the surroundings and the altitude sign to impress friends back home with your sky-high adventure. Return to Leh for an overnight hotel stay.
