Boat ride was lovely, the captain really knows his history and relates it well. What ruined for us was the onboarding. I attempted to used the facilities before getting off the boat. The deck hand told me that a rude manner that I couldn’t go into it and use it. I told him I really needed to go to which he replied “you can hold it” in a dismissive tone. It’s not his denial to enter the bathroom but the tone and dismissiveness in his response. As an older person being spoken to as if I were a child is despicable. How does he know I can hold it? Does he have first hand knowledge of any medical condition I may have. I sure hope he in the least gets a chat talk about how he speaks to the patrons who visit and pay his salary.
