- Old City Gates - The Old City Gates, constructed in 1808, once served as the primary entrance and exit for St. Augustine.
- St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum - We are currently in front of the St. Augustine Pirate and Treasure Museum. If you’re intrigued by high-seas adventurers, tap Learn More to discover more about the museum.
- Oldest Wooden School House - Founder Juan Genopoly aimed to give back to his community, who had toiled hard to secure their place here. How hard, you ask? Genopoly was among thousands of indentured servants who came here with the promise of land ownership in return for unpaid labor. Out of those thousands, only 600 survived the harsh plantation work.
- St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine - While it may not appear impressive from the outside, the interior is adorned with Byzantine-style frescoes. These elaborate murals honor the first Greek colony to settle in America.
- Memorial Presbyterian Church - This magnificent structure with gold accents is unlike anything else in St. Augustine. That’s exactly how Henry Flagler envisioned it! Flagler, a wealthy New Yorker, wasn’t initially impressed with the city when he first visited.
- Governor’s House Cultural Center and Museum - The tradition of residing in the governor’s house continued until 1811. Since then, the building has undergone several renovations and served various purposes, including a post office, Civil War troop headquarters, and ultimately—a museum!
- Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine - The congregation is as old as the city itself. How is that possible? On that historic day in 1565, when the Spanish conquistador planted the Spanish flag on this shore, a priest approached him after his triumph. Father Lopez carried a large cross on his shoulders and presented it to the conqueror, singing a hymn all the while.
- Bridge of Lions - The bridge, distinguished by a prominent marble statue of a lion ahead, is known as the Bridge of Lions.
