For a brief moment, you will be the easternmost individual in North America. Experience the might of the wild North Atlantic as it crashes against the rocks, explore historical landmarks including the enormous cannons installed for North America’s defense during WW2, and, weather permitting, climb to the lighthouse for some of the most breathtaking views available.
- Petty Harbour - Located just outside of St. John’s, this charming, active fishing village is home to Great Big Sea singer Alan Doyle.
- Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s - A hidden gem on the Conception Bay shore, offering stunning views of Bell Island. Here, enjoy freshly caught seafood prepared by locals at By the Beach, followed by a drive through the historic fishing village of Portugal Cove.
- Signal Hill - Ascend the iconic Signal Hill, home to Cabot Tower, offering unmatched views of St. John’s, its harbour, the North Atlantic Ocean, Fort Amherst, and Cape Spear. The view stretches for miles!
- Quidi Vidi - We will stop here towards the end of the tour if time permits. We usually have time:)
