As soon as we arrived at the bustling port of St. Kitts, the vibrant energy of the island was palpable. The Cockleshell Beach Excursion—a guided tour promising historical insights and relaxation. We were greeted by a friendly local holding a sunflower sign, our cue to check in. While we waited for the rest of our group, we indulged in some people-watching and enjoyed the lively island music that filled the air. The wait was brief, and soon we were introduced to Wally, our driver for the day.

Wally led us to a clean, air-conditioned minivan, a welcome respite from the tropical heat.
