A good day out ! - The Gozo tour was well organised, the ferry, the coach trip, the temple, the Dwejra boat trip, everything was good. I would especially recommend the Dwejra boat trip through the caves. Excellent value for money (5 euros only for the boat).

Thorough tour and enjoyable day - Great way to see Gozo and hassle free. Host explained everything well and there was sufficient time at each stop. Underwater cave by boat was the highlight. Trackless train seemed pointless though.

I wouldn't do this in the Summer!! - I was concerned about this Tour beforehand due to the traffic problems on Gozo, but it turned out to be ok, even the Guide & Driver were amazed at how quiet it was. The Guide was very knowledgeable & communicated clearly throughout. However, there were a few disappointments along the way. The stop at the Crafts Village, was actually a stop at a Tourist Shop about a quarter of a mile from the actual village. The train ride along the Salt Flats was good, but would've liked 5 mins to get off and get a closer look & some decent photos. The one thing I really wanted to do was visit the Temples. When we got there we had 30mins of talking & were then only given 5 mins to actually explore them and get some decent photos. However, We did get nearly 90mins in Victoria/Citadel which was good. At the end of Tour, it all went wrong. It's difficult to say who was at fault, but just after the Guide left & we were about to leave to go back to our Hotels, the Driver got a phone call then switched the Bus engine off & just sat there. After 10mins someone asked what was happening. The driver said we had to wait for more people. It appeared that some members of our group decided to go off & do their own thing & then missed the Ferry back. We ended up waiting nearly 50mins. Unfortunately, this meant our last impression of the Tour was a sour one.

Ok tour - The older tour guide picked us up then we had to wait for English guide. She showed up but not where tour guide thought she’d be. We finally located her the tour guide who did the itanlian and French tour was very obviously annoyed with the tour guide that we were waiting for “ she is being malicious “ was one of her complaints other than that trip was good. The tour 8 to ten hours. I was home by five. We could have done more on Gozo. And the train is not a train. It’s a kids train

Gozo Island - Bad organization od transport. Most of the time we spend on the bus and we did not see a lot. The tour guy was good he give his best, but we do not have lots of time for looking around.

Rushed, ill-managed- a waste of a day! - Booked this through our tour operator as it was our honeymoon. Wish we hadn't as we lost a day to this. Firstly, the coach to the ferry was old and rickety, when the guide got off- she sprinted off and as we were last to get on- we couldn't remember who she was. When we arrived at Gozo and eventually found her (through asking other coach drivers) we were escorted on a boring tour to the temples where she sprinted off again and then talked for what felt like an eternity about the temples. When we eventually went in to look around, it was so packed you literally frog marched around it and there wasn't an awful lot to see! On to a small shop where over 50 people were given 15 minutes to look around - you couldn't move in there so we went back to the bus and after only 10 minutes started off again to our next destination - someone shouted that some passengers weren't back on yet so they reluctantly stopped to wait for them (thank goodness for them they had friends on the tour!!). The next stop we were offered the chance to pay for a boat ride but with that many passengers and the fear of being abandoned if we were late, we didn't bother - we had a drink and a comfort break instead! On to the Trackless train for a 3 minute drive up the hill (enough time to listen to one Abba track being blasted out) and then an hour to look around. We were totally bemused and frustrated by the experience and regret going. There are so many guided tours you can book on site where they ACTUALLY want you! we recommend avoiding this tour and this company's equally poor open bus at night tour and spend your precious time and money elsewhere!

(Not) Discovering Gozo - An unforgettable experience, but not in the way that you would hope. Land of the Lost 1. We were picked up from Valletta and boarded a ferry after an hour and a half journey picking up from other hotels. The guide provided no comprehensible information on the itinerary or where we were going and in what order. Two people weren’t picked up so the guide spent half an hour on the phone sorting that out rather than communicating any information. Panic Room 2. On arrival to the Temples we crammed into a small room (45 people) where we were unable to hear or understand what the guide was saying. He pointed out some displays but we were unable to see them as we were crammed in like sardines. I broke away and went around on my own as it was too claustrophobic. We were given a small amount of time to look around before meeting the guide outside, although we weren’t told that’s where we would meet him. Temple of Doom 3. Some of the group were told to go to another guide (based on spoken language), and we received a brief overview of the temples then had 10 minutes to go and look at the temples (although we only got time for the smaller side of the large temple, while the other group were able to go into the main part of the temple). This we were told is the oldest and biggest temple. This was an inadequate time to view such an important monument. Not enough time to enjoy or appreciate this and information communicated about it was both inadequate and incomprehensible. Catch Me if You Can 4. We arrived back at the bus and were told to get off. We discovered without being pre warned that the buses were going to be mixed to get particular languages on particular buses. We had left things on the original bus as we were not told we were going to swap buses. Rush Hour 5. Then we drove to the shrine at which we were given 20 minutes. A lovely shrine, but again no information provided. Nice to look at though. Got some photos. The Hunger Games 6. Then we got back on the bus and were taken to the ‘craft’ place. This is actually just a souvenir shop, where we were given 20 minutes for 45 people to be crammed into a small shop. This included food tasting however you couldn’t actually get to the food as it was a small stand and people were clearly starving. It was less “crafty” and more “crafty marketing.” Much Ado About Nothing 7. Then we got on the coach and went to the blue grotto where we had 40 minutes and those who wanted to go on the boats to see the grotto went off with the guide for a 20 min boat ride. We thought it would be a struggle to get everyone on the boat rides in the allotted time and needed a drink and a comfort break at this point so declined the boat trip which was optional. We weren’t told anything in advance about the location or the grottos, or how things would be organised. Time on the coach could have been used to better effect to organise and inform what would happen at stop-offs. A Brief Encounter 8. Then we headed to Victoria where we had 1 hour 15 minutes. Practically we had to use this for lunch and had no time to look around the city. We were told we had to be at a certain place at 3pm to get the ‘trackless train’. This wasn’t enough time to get lunch and see anything. We weren’t given any information on Victoria or any significant land marks. We had lunch and went to a couple of shops. Thomas the Tank Engine 9. The highlight of the trip was the kids train, where we went to a bus car park while listening to Cotton Eyed Joe and other classic Maltese music. This took us from Victoria to the Coach. Are We There Yet? 10. Then we got back on the coach to go to the ferry port. Finding Nemo 11. We got off the ferry and no one told us where we were going to get to the coach, we just had to try to find it in the car park. The guide said they would be at the exit, but they were not. I just walked and hoped for the best. On getting on the coach another victim of this trip asked me how I found my way to the coach, I said I put one foot in front of the other and hoped for the best. Once again the coaches had been swapped and there was confusion about who should be on what bus, with people having to swap coaches after getting on the wrong one. A Series of Unfortunate Events Not worth the money. If you want to see Gozo, you won’t see it on this trip. Not enough time at key monuments and no context for where you’re going. We found ourselves counting down the stops until we would be on our way back.

PESIMA AGENCY - Terrible. Just awful. We spent €45 on an excursion and we got the wrong date data, we lost the money and we haven't been refunded. Then they have the face to brand us liars and steal from us. A disgrace. Calling us “very intense aunts to say nothing else” and insulting us simply for trying to claim our money when trying to carry out the activity. Changing the name of the activities so that it is impossible to know what activity the information they send. In addition, bad treatment and indifference to the problem and problems apart as the room, my friend had several different names 2 rooms that were not hers, so any damages would be paid by her. Also, we stayed more than an hour waiting to be given our room. This agency is lousy, very lucky to find one worthwhile because we have ruined our trip.
