As a smaller vessel, it allows entry into the caves at no additional cost, providing excellent photo opportunities. The first stop is the renowned Blue Lagoon Comino, where you can swim, snorkel, and dive into the Mediterranean Sea’s crystal-clear waters. Once docked at Comino, you can dive and jump from the boat or explore the island on foot. A snack bar onboard offers food and drinks, and toilet facilities are available.
- Island of Gozo - The second stop is at Mgarr Harbour, Gozo. As the boat enters the harbor, have your cameras ready to capture the stunning Island of Gozo. A bus will be waiting to take you to explore Gozo’s capital city, Victoria. Visit the Victoria Markets, the 15th Century Cittadella, or enjoy a meal at local Gozitan restaurants. Enjoy exploring and immersing yourself in Gozitan culture. After approximately 2 hours, return to the harbor to continue the boat cruise. On the return journey to Malta, the boat cruises to view the caves at either St. Mary’s caves or Crystal Lagoon caves, weather permitting.

I did this tour with my... - I did this tour with my wife, adult son and his wife. We are in our 60’s and they are in their 30’s. If you’re staying in historic Valletta, be aware that it’s a 30 min drive to the jetty. It cost €30 each way by cab. You can see St. Paul’s islands from the jetty and you pass by them on your way to Comino. I suggest you take photos both coming and going. (It rained on our return and I only got a few on the return). The tour was terrific, but also wear tennis shoes. Getting off the boat at Comino was a little scary as the boat ramp was bobbing up and down and the path was narrow and uneven. The sights there of the Blue Lagoon were spectacular!! There were many options for food and drink, albeit food trucks without seating. Gozo was also fabulous, a walk up to the Citadella is a must!! The highlight for me was the sea caves on the return. The captain and crew were very nice and they offered drinks for purchase on board.

A Unique Experience – Highly Recommended! - Today’s cruise was truly a unique and unforgettable day! From start to finish, we enjoyed every single moment. The people were incredibly friendly, the ride was magical with breathtaking views, and the guided tour was fantastic. We also chose the guided tour in Gozo, which was an amazing addition and made the day even more special. We had a wonderful time and created the most beautiful memories. I highly recommend it to everyone!

- We had a wonderful day! The excursion lasted 6 hours and we could not see Saint Paul Island, but it is specified that the Captain can make modifications. However, this has been clarified in advance, through careful communication. The size of the boat was perfect to appreciate up close, all the staff was nice and warm, the music greatly contributes to the experience. We know we chose the right boarding, it fits what we were looking for! Thank you for this lovely dream come true

Boat tour to blue lagoon, minibus to gozo - Best boat trip I have been on. Excellent, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful scenery. Gozo on the minibus was well worth the extra euros. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you everyone

Great way to see the sights - Really well organised trip. Was kept informed by Captain throughout, saw loads of gorgeous scenery and had time in Blue Lagoon, Gozo and St Pauls Island. Would definitely recommend

Excellent - The boat trip was great! Had a lot of fun. Everything was well planned. You can have drinks and snacks on the boat and jump from the boat to havw a swim when it stops.

Day Trip on the Mermaid Cruise - Had an amazing full day trip to Comino, Gozo and St.Pauls Island. The staff were professional, friendly and even helped me call a taxi when my phone battery died 🙈
The boat was great, not too big so we could enter some of the larger caves. The kids loved sitting at the front dangling their legs off the boat.
10/10 for the music choice, as a millennial I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Good tour more or less everything, but in too much of a hurry - In general the tour is very interesting: you can visit most of the points of interest of the islands near Malta, the blue lagoon of Comino, the citadel in Gozo and the caves. The staff is friendly and helpful and drinks can be bought on board to cool off at reasonable prices.
Unfortunately the tour has the defect of being too short. Too little time is left on both islands, especially at the blue lagoon, where with a single hour it is difficult to find time to buy lunch or a souvenir from the stands near the beach, or to take a dip calmly in the beautiful waters of the lagoon. The tour is therefore recommended for those who want to take a purely touristic tour, but not recommended for those who are looking for a way to reach comino and relax on the island.

Completely missed out St Paul's Island - We took this tour on Thursday 11th September 2025. We rated it 'poor' as the tour completely missed out St. Paul's Island and the advertised opportunity to trek to the statue at the top and enjoy the view didn't happen. Commentary throughout the trip was poor and no commentary at all on Gozo. The crew were also a bit cavalier with passenger safety getting on and off the boat at the blue lagoon. Personally felt that the crew just wanted to rush through the tour and finish as early as possible.
