Magen’s Bay Beach is often voted one of the top beaches in the world! This beach has one mile of soft white sand and clear, blue water! Included in beach tour are two stops for photo and scenic viewing opportunities. Stops included are Skyline Drive Overview and Sir France’s Drake Seat.
One hour island tour plus two hours on the Beach. This is a great tour for some family fun!

TripAdvisor & Great Explorations Tours are AMAZING! - We highly recommend this tour to anyone whether with a partner, friends or solo this is a "must see & do." I was looking for tours that would allow me to experience the "culture, people, & history" that is unique ONLY to the beautiful US Virgin Islands specifically St. Thomas.
Great customer service from beginning to end. My correspondence with Angela & Josie whom was very accommodating, friendly, detail oriented, quick to respond, provided updates & constant communication with me leading up to the tour. Our driver HAMBLET was AMAZING! He was knowledgeable, friendly & accommodating as well. For example: Our hotel was not offered as a pickup option for our tour, however Hamblet & the team made it convenient for us and picked us up from our hotel anyway. JOB WELL DONE TO GREAT EXPLORATIONS TOURS TEAM! Thanks also to TRIPADVISOR for NEVER disappointing me as I have relied on your tour recommendations for a number of trips both domestic and internationally!

Great 4 hours - If small group you will be in large taxi
I would have preferred an open vehicle so we didn't have to climb out every time we wanted to take a picture.

Marvelous, Magnificent Mountaintop Vistas - A little of the history of the Island in a few stops, including Blackbeard's Castle, before heading up to the mountain. En route, a few scenic overlooks to capture different angles of the Island, perfect photo shoot locations. On the Mountaintop is the perfect location for additional photo shot captures, and of course, shop in a very large gift shop while perusing the offerings sipping banana daiquiri. Our tour guide, Hamblet, was very knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and happy to answer all of our questions, as well as making local restaurant suggestions once we were back down to Charlie Amalie. This tour was MAGNIFICENT, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide!

Excellent Tour with Hamblet, Mountain Top and Magens! - We took this tour with Great Exploration Tours (booked through Viator). It was difficult to find a tour that would pick up from the Sapphire Beach Resort instead of the cruise ship port and I wanted a similar overview of the island along with a few hours at Magens Bay.
Friday was not a cruise ship day so I figured it would be pretty easy to book. Our tour with Hamblet was great. He picked us up right on time, was very informative, really nice guy. There was one other person on the tour, a lovely woman from LA. We hit the views, Mountain Top and got a few hours on the beach. He also saved me when I dropped and left my phone in the parking lot! Thankfully it was not run over and I got it back. NIce way to spend a few hours and see St. Thomas, highly recommend!

Great views! Easy 1/2 day outing - Amazing views and informative tour guide. Really nice half day excursion. I was pleasantly surprised by how light and refreshing the banana daquiri was at Mountain Top. Our driver Hamblet was great! Highly recommend.

Very good tour... make sure you know when and where to meet your guide! - We scheduled this tour during our cruise ship's St. Thomas stop. It did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Hamln, was very good. He taught us about the island as he drove (excellent driver... we felt very safe, even as we drove the hills and sharp curves along the way). The first part of the tour stopped at a couple of sites that were great for taking photos, before heading to the Mountain Top for our Banana Daiquiris. At Mountain Top, we got some excellent photos, especially looking down on Magens Bay Beach. The place where the daiquiris were made was also a souvenir shop. It was quite large and a good place if you wanted to bring home something or get gifts for others. Some souvenir stores have very inflated prices, but I thought there were enough options that you could find something in every price range and not feel like you were suckered into paying too much for whatever you chose. Then, it was down the mountain to Magens Bay Beach for the afternoon. The beach was great. We don't like to spend too much time in the direct sun, so we rented 2 chaise lounges and an umbrella (I think it was $40 total) and that was a good choice for us. The only issue we had with the tour was confusion about where and when we needed to meet (our tour was scheduled for 1:30pm, but we were expected to meet Hamlin at 12:15pm - we didn't know about that. Fortunately, he CALLED us and we rushed off the ship so we didn't hold up the group. That was the only hiccup of our tour and better communication from Viator could have prevented it. Other than that, I'd recommend the tour. We had a very good afternoon.

Nice tour, but they cut it too close for comfort getting back to our cruise ship - Nice tour, great sites. Unfortunately, we were very concerned. We’re gonna miss our ship, Viator says this is a four hour tour, but when we finally left the beach an hour before our cruise ship was going to leave, the driver said we “should be there in time.” We made it in time, but when they say it’s a four hour tour, it really should not be a 4.5 hour tour, making you worried about missing your ship.

The driver, Hamblet, is... - The driver, Hamblet, is exceptionally knowledgeable about the island and its rich history. The views were incredible, the time to do things like shop and swim was perfect. The roads are pretty rough and can make things a little difficult to hear the driver's commentary due to the noise of the vehicle on the road. But that is minimal compared to the rest of the experience.

Terrible - First of all the people of this terrible island are very rude. They don’t really care about customer service they just want your money. Would not recommend wasting time or money here
