From the sea, the bustling city appears serene, and the vistas of Rio are simply stunning. As the boat circles back, you’ll encounter the city of Niteroi on the opposite side of the bridge, providing one of the finest views of Rio de Janeiro. Guanabara Bay - The cruise will take you to witness Rio’s most picturesque scenery. Guanabara Bay, the world’s largest bay by water volume, features several islands, including Governor’s Island, Fundão, and Snakes Island. During the tour, if you’re looking to unwind, feel free to visit the onboard bar, where you can purchase caipirinhas, other alcoholic beverages, sodas, and water. Complimentary seasonal tropical fruits, such as watermelon and pineapples, are also available!
Corcovado and Christ Redeemer by Train
Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer - Begin at Cosme Velho Station, located at the base of Corcovado Mountain, where pre-reserved train tickets will save time as you ascend to the summit. The train journey takes you through the lush Tijuca rainforest to the 38-meter (125-foot) tall Christ Redeemer Statue. The 20-minute ride offers a chance to fully appreciate the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest globally, covering 7% of the city’s territory. The breathtaking scenery alone makes the trip worthwhile.
Upon reaching the statue, take in the views and the majestic statue that will make you forget the climb! From this vantage point, you can see most of the city, the entire south zone, and even as far as Niteroi. This unique perspective is sure to amaze you. You’ll have approximately 40 minutes to explore all sides and views of Corcovado and capture photos.
After descending by train, guests will be transported back to their hotels by bus.
