Unforgettable - Very nice walk I learned a lot about this beautiful city

HONEST REVIEW - We stayed in Santa Teresa Rua Dias Barras 43. We were unable to get picked up but were told a meeting point infront of Hotel Lapa. This was pretty common as there would be Blocos infront of our house and streets were closed off as this reservation happened during Carnaval. We had Miriam as our tour guide and we met up at 8am. One thing about Miriam is that she allowed us have our own freedom to explore and then be very educational once we got together and drove to certain points in the itinerary. My family really enjoyed her style of guiding us around as she was honest, funny, attentive, and had a wonderful personality that aligned with ours. One thing to keep in mind is to have modest clothing, as they will not allow you to see Christ the Redeemer with provocative clothing or bikinis. My mom was terrrified of the cable cars but our tour guide helped our family comfort my mom and she ended up going and having an amazing time as there were people dancing in the first mountain as you need to take two cable cars to go to sugarloaf mountain. 10/10 would do this again. We got to enjoy each place and the buffet was very good and had alot of options. I paid for beverages for 2 liters of juice for my family and it averaged out to 6$ which was not bad at all. We enjoyed it and we got back home around 4pm which allowed us to rest and refuel for the excursion for the next day. We went into a favela and the bus we were in was very comfortable and accomodating. I would not hesitate to book as this age-friendly and was impressed by all the beautiful views. Side note: the passion fruit in the restuarant by christ the redeemer was very sour and had no sugar, do not reccommend , save your money until you get to the buffet provided as it has wonderful options.

Beautiful experience and very good service. Attentive friendly and always good vibe - The truth all the service was very good, we were made to feel comfortable at all times and Deny (guide) very friendly and attentive... I recommend it as it is worth the service and the value is accessible.

Economical and safe - Luka was a good guide, gave us good tips, was punctual, only very short periods in each place but it is understood that it was because of the program. The company is recommended.

Bad Experience and Waste of Day - I booked this activity about 2 months in advanced. Received a confirmation from Viator, tour operator never showed up for pick-up nor contacted me. Viator attempted to contact operator but they never responded. I lost the whole day because it was too late to reserve a tour for that day; no tours were available. I do not recommend this tour operator.
