Explore the vibrant underwater world of Rio on a small-group boat tour to the Tijuca Islands, departing from Barra da Tijuca. Snorkeling equipment is provided for this adventure, which offers opportunities to see sea turtles, colorful fish, various bird species, and, during June to August, migrating humpback whales. Participants can swim, stroll along island beaches, and take in the stunning views of Pedra da Gávea and Dois Irmãos. With a maximum of 12 passengers per tour, the experience is intimate and personal. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours and typically departs from Ilha da Coroa 2 (Barra), although the meeting point may change to Urca based on conditions.
