Great way to sight see! - Great way to go around and see the sights! It starts right off the pier for cruise passengers and takes you around!

Stavanger Awesomeness, Haugesund horrible Experience - I booked this prior to cruising. My last experience three days earlier in Haugesund was awful. Bus top not working, earphones non functional no seat belts, no announcements driver non English speaking and rude. Stavanger was amazing. Bus completely functional with great announcements and English speaking driver, open windows and open top. Haugesund Bus stifling Bus. No widows open, horrible!

Only worth it for swords in the rock - I would only recommend taking this bus if you want to see the swords in the rock, since everything else of Interest is close together in the town. And if you have a larger group, it would probably be cheaper to get a cab out to swords in the rock.

Hop on hop off, always good - Every major (and many minor) cities brother world have a hop on hop off bus service, normally more than one, all claiming to be the‘original’ or the ‘official’. I’m not sure what this page was set up for, but the company that we used here, and in most places, is the service operated by the Grey Line. Not the best or most valuable service that we have used, but still, as always, a great way to get a feel for a place. 13 stops, many of which are close together and could be covered by a couple of hours on foot. But, as always, good commentary, great overview and a good introduction to a city.

Decent Tour - Decent but not crazy good tour. Note that buses can’t go on all the cobblestone roads so I would plan to walk some if the weather is OK.

EASY WAY TO SIGHTSEE - My dad doesn't walk well so we thought this would be an easy way to get around town. Views are better from up top. But being able to ride with him, and then stay on to go and see what I wanted was convenient Stopped at the all the sites to see locally. Not 5 because one time I was trying to get off the bus and they closed the doors on me.

Expensive and boring - Very expensive and boring. Only place we would have got off was to see the swords in the rocks. Got told it was a 5 mins walk back but absolutely no way would that be 5 mins. We travelled with a friend recovering from a back injury and thought the bus tour would be an enjoyable few hours as he could not walk far. How wrong we were

Boring - On the bus now. Really not worth the money. No real points of interest better exploring on foot if you are near the cruise terminal. Just going through a tunnel ( the most exciting part of the tour), says it all.

Not worth it - Be aware that they only have 3 buses and the wait is pretty long. They informed us that the wait is every 30 minutes but the bus never came. For us it was not worth buying the tickets.

Waste of money - A stop from our cruise ship at stavanger gave us a few hours to explore. We have used the hop on hop off buses many times & thought we would do it again as we have always found them useful & informative. Not this time, we felt it really was a waste of time & money that was backed up by others we spoke to on the ship afterwards. The bus doubles back on itself around the small roads showing repeated views. I would recommend getting a walking map at a fraction of the price I'm sure you would see just as much!
